A fluid draining system, for serving as an aid in emptying waste oil or other fluid from a fluid container to a fluid collection container, includes a main body, which may be made of injection molded plastic and may be at least partially transparent. The main body may have an opening for entrance of fluid from the fluid container, and a lower downward sloping chute for the exiting of the fluid towards the fluid collection container. A sleeve with one or more elastic seals may be provided at the main body to fluid-tightly yet operatively accommodate a socket extension or other tool for operating a drain plug of the fluid container. The fluid draining system may provide a unique hands free, confined fluid flow channel through which fluid will flow while draining from the fluid container, such as from an engine oil pan, crankcase, or transmission sump.

A screw removal apparatus includes a shank and a working head connected to the shank. The working head has a base portion and an abutting portion protruding out from the base portion. The shank and the abutting portion extend from the base portion in opposite directions. The abutting portion has a first end, a second end, and an inner periphery extending between the first and second ends in an arc about an axis. The inner periphery has a plurality of ridges and a plurality of recesses. The plurality of ridges and the plurality of recesses alternatively arranged. The base portion and the abutting portion cooperate to form a retaining space for receiving a screw to be removed.

Tool for removing a threaded insert from a supporting structure, and related method of use

A method of removing a threaded insert from a wall structure is disclosed, where the insert has a flange and an internally threaded barrel. The disclosed method involves: introducing a bracket onto an outer edge of the wall structure, the bracket having a supporting arm with a hole, and the bracket having a plunger positioning arm with a threaded hole. The bracket is positioned such that the supporting arm is located on a first side of the wall structure, the plunger positioning arm is located on a second side of the wall structure, and the flange resides in the hole. A threaded plunger component is actuated to move a distal end section of the plunger component toward an exposed end of the threaded insert. Continued actuation of the plunger component increases force imparted on the exposed end of the threaded insert, until the insert is released from the wall structure.

The oil filter removal tool is a hand tool. The oil filter removal tool installs and removes an oil filter from a vehicle engine. The oil filter is further defined with an outer diameter and a plurality of indentations. The oil filter removal tool is a cylindrical structure. The cylindrical structure of the oil filter removal tool contains oil leaks resulting from the removal of an oil filter from the vehicle engine. The cylindrical structure channels the oil leaks into the catch pan normally placed under the vehicle engine during an oil change. The oil filter removal tool comprises a pipe and a plurality of ridges. The plurality of ridges is mounted on the interior of the pipe.

COMPRESSOR FILTER TOOL USEFUL IN SERVICE CALLS

A filter capture tool and filter removal tool useful to extract a filter from a compressor filter housing is disclosed. The filter capture tool and filter removal tool can be used separate an in some forms can be used independent of the other. In one form the filter capture tool can be inserted into a central open space of a filter element at which point a number of arms can be deployed from the capture tool to engage an interior surface and thereby capture the filter element. The filter removal tool includes an extension member that can be deployed from a base connected to a filter housing. The extension member can be connected to an arm which reaches from the base of the removal tool to the filter element to assist in removing the element from the interior of the filter housing.
