Harmonic damper pulley puller
A pulley pulling device for removing a harmonic damper pulley having at least two spoke portions from a crankshaft comprises a hub including at least two clevis portions. A plurality of legs are pivotably connected to respective ones of the clevis portions, with the legs each including a body portion and a foot portion protruding laterally therefrom. The body and foot portions are contoured and oriented relative to each other such that the foot portion is adapted to engage a corresponding one of the spoke portions and to selectively pivot relative thereto as achieves optimized contact therebetween.
REMOVAL TOOL FOR BALL JOINT
A removal tool for a ball joint contains: a first support arm, a second support arm, a first engagement post, a second engagement post, a first connector, and a second connector. The first support arm includes a rotatable fixing member and the first connector. The second support arm includes a rotatable screwing member and the second connector. The first support arm further includes a first fitting sleeve, and the second support arm includes a second fitting sleeve. The second engagement post includes a first threaded section, and the second engagement post includes a second threaded section, a spiral rotation direction of the first threaded section is opposite to a spiral rotation direction of the second threaded section.
Chain tool
A chain tool includes a body having a driving hole, a stop portion, and a receiving portion located between the driving hole and the stop portion in an axial direction. A pressing member is received in the receiving portion and is movable relative to the body in the axial direction. A push member is in threading connection with the first threaded portion and is movable relative to the body between a first position distant to the stop portion and a second position adjacent to the stop portion. The pressing member is pressed by the push member and moves in an arcuate path when the push member moves between the first and second positions.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING BALL JOINT WITH A THREADED DOMED COVER PLATE
A method of manufacturing a vehicle suspension component includes inserting a cover body into an aperture of a housing, the cover body being disposed about a central axis concentric with the aperture of the housing, the cover body having a convex side and a concave side and an outer perimeter disposed about the central axis, the cover body defining a threaded bore concentric with the central axis, and deforming the cover body into retaining engagement with the housing by pressing against the convex side until the cover body is at least partial deformed and the outer perimeter is expanded compared to a pre-deformed state of the cover body.
JOINT PRESS ADAPTER
A slip-on adapter that is adapted to be coupled to existing adapters that have already been developed. The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. The slip-on adapter can also be used as a “flip adapter” with different geometries at both ends for use with two different size ball joints. This allows for less expensive adapters for new size ball joints by connecting to existing adapters, rather than requiring full machining of a new adapter.
Puller tool and adapter
A puller tool comprises a cross bar with a central portion having a through hole defining a first axis; a forcing screw configured to extend through the through hole; and an adapter detachably attached to the cross bar and having a threaded hole defining a second axis for the forcing screw, and wherein the first axis and second axis are substantially aligned. The adapter comprises a threaded hole configured to receive the forcing screw and defining a second axis, wherein the first axis and second axis are substantially aligned; a base portion containing the threaded hole and arrangeable adjacent a first axial side of the cross bar; at least a first wall portion extending away from the base portion and arrangeable adjacent to a first lateral side of the central portion of the cross bar, and wherein the adapter is detachably attachable to the cross bar.
Brake caliper tool
A tool for retracting pistons into cylinder bores is disclosed, with a narrow gap between facing pressure plates allowing use of the tool in tight places, and ratcheting spreading of the facing pressure plates causing outward moving of the pistons, enabling work to be performed, wherein movement of a threaded stud through a coupler moves a first pressure plate.
Hub Wheel Bearing Removal Tool-Bit
A tool for removing a hub wheel bearing assembly from a steering knuckle includes a main element and at least one hub engaging element. The tool is used in combination with a power tool, such as a pneumatic hammer. The tool is particularly useful for removing hub wheel bearing assemblies that are rusted and/or corroded to steering knuckles. The hub wheel bearing assembly removal tool may remove the hub wheel bearing assembly from the steering knuckle without causing any damage to hub wheel bearing assembly, the steering knuckle, or any parts attached to it; thus, making the hub wheel bearing assembly removal an ideal tool for not only vehicle owners but car dealers, vehicle repair shops, and insurance companies also.
Shaft driving tool
A tool for driving a shaft a shaft within an apertured member, the tool incorporating a segmented sleeve having upper, lower, and medial segments, each segment having upper and lower ends, a hollow bore of the lower segment being helically threaded; a shaft biasing screw mounted within the lower segment's hollow bore, upper and lower joints, the upper joint connecting the upper end of the screw with the upper segment, and the lower joint connecting the medial segment with the lower segment; a first gear component attached to the upper segment; a support frame attached to the medial segment; a second gear component mounted rotatably upon the support frame, the second gear component being positioned for rotating the first gear component; a rotary power input stem fixedly attached to the second gear component; and a clamp or hook arms adapted for positioning the apertured member beneath the screw's shaft biasing lower end.
Working tool
A working tool has a working head and a body device. In an embodiment, an electric motor having a drive shaft with a longitudinal axis, and a transmission are connected to each other and are in the body device. In an embodiment, the working head is a hydraulic cylinder with a hydraulic piston that can be moved between extended and retracted positions in a direction of travel. A hydraulic medium pump and a drive for the hydraulic medium are provided in the body device. In an embodiment, the transmission is connected to the electric motor so as to be movable in the direction of the longitudinal axis in such a way that it is limited by a limit stop. In an embodiment, the hydraulic cylinder is attached to the body device so as to be movable in the direction of travel that it is limited by a limit stop.
