Tool and method for removal of variable stator vane bushing
A tool for removal of a bushing (such as a bushing of a variable stator vane assembly of a compressor) is provided. The tool includes a cylindrical housing, a lead screw, a threaded nut, and a pulling module with puller arms to engage the bushing. The housing defines a longitudinal axis along which the lead screw extends. The lead screw is rotatably secured within the cylindrical housing by a threaded nut engaged with the lead screw. The pulling module is removably attached to the threaded nut, such that the lead screw passes through the threaded nut before passing through the pulling module. The pulling module is provided with a pair of oppositely disposed puller arms, and each puller arm is provided with a hook portion having an engagement tab configured to engage a respective notch on the bushing. A method of removing the bushing using the tool is also disclosed.
ROTATING MACHINE COUPLING HUB PULLING DEVICE
An assembly for separating a coupling hub from a shaft of a rotating machine includes a support frame sub-assembly that structurally supports the assembly and the coupling hub. A vertical adjustment sub-assembly is structurally supported by the support frame sub-assembly. The vertical adjustment sub-assembly adjusts the elevation of a puller sub-assembly from the surface of the Earth. The puller sub-assembly couples to the coupling hub and separates the coupling hub from the shaft.
Shaft Driving Tool
A tool for driving a shaft a shaft within an apertured member, the tool incorporating a segmented sleeve having upper, lower, and medial segments, each segment having upper and lower ends, a hollow bore of the lower segment being helically threaded; a shaft biasing screw mounted within the lower segment's hollow bore, ; upper and lower joints, the upper joint connecting the upper end of the screw with the upper segment, and the lower joint connecting the medial segment with the lower segment; a first gear component attached to the upper segment; a support frame attached to the medial segment; a second gear component mounted rotatably upon the support frame, the second gear component being positioned for rotating the first gear component; a rotary power input stem fixedly attached to the second gear component; and a clamp or hook arms adapted for positioning the apertured member beneath the screw's shaft biasing lower end.
Extraction tool
An extraction tool includes a coupling disc, an operating rod and two pads, wherein the coupling disc is penetrated by an assembly hole, the operating rod is provided in the assembly hole, and the pads can be movably arranged on the coupling disc. The coupling disc is penetrated by four first through grooves, two second through grooves, two third through grooves and two fourth through grooves. Each of the pads respectively covers one of the fourth through grooves, and the pads are each penetrated by one fifth through groove, each fifth through groove communicates with one of the fourth through grooves, and one side of each fifth through groove forms an alignment relationship with one of two sides of each of the fourth through grooves.
Inlet guide vane removal tools and methods
An inlet guide vane removal assembly includes a support frame with a support plate. At least one force device is coupled to the support plate. A puller bracket is attached to the at least one force device. The puller bracket has an open-ended slot defined therethrough, and a plurality of flanges positioned to engage an installed inlet guide vane. When the force device is actuated, the puller bracket is displaced relative to the support frame to facilitate removing the inlet guide vane.
Tool for Detaching Parts from Vehicles
A tool includes an operative rod, a guiding rod, a conveying screw and two detaching elements. The guiding rod includes a middle section connected to the operative rod and two terminal sections extending from the middle section. The conveying screw includes two threaded sections. Threads of the threaded sections extend in opposite directions. Each of the detaching elements includes a fixing aperture and a screw hole. The fixing aperture receives a corresponding one of the terminal sections of the guiding rod. The screw hole receives a corresponding one of the threaded sections of the conveying screw. Thus, the detaching elements are moved toward each other when the conveying screw is rotated in a first direction and that the detaching elements are moved from each other when the conveying screw is rotated in a second direction.
Adjustable grip dual-mating housing structure for removal of a faucet handle to gain access to a corroded valve stem
An apparatus for removing a faucet handle that utilizes dual housing mating members for support that prevents the sink from having a direct force placed upon the sink while the apparatus is in use. The apparatus further provides a mating two housing structure having adjustable slots and corresponding wing nuts that will allow a bottom plate to open and close to allow variety of different sized faucet handles to be retained inside of two plates to retain the faucet handle during removal.
PISTON RESETTING TOOL FOR DISK BRAKE
A piston resetting tool for a disk brake includes a main body, a first pressing plate, a second pressing plate and an operating rod. The side of the main body is connected to the first pressing plate, the second pressing plate is adjacent to the other side of the main body, and the operating rod is configured on one end of the main body. The inside of the main body is pivotally configured with a rotating piece and the rotating piece is configured with a middle tube through a first screw barrel in threaded joint. The middle tube is configured with a screw rod through a second screw barrel in threaded joint and the screw rod is connected to the second pressing plate, so that the second pressing plate can move to and fro.
JOINT DISMOUNTING TOOL
A joint dismounting tool is provided, including a frame body and a pulling assembly. The frame body includes a base portion and two arm portions, and the two arm portions are disposed on the base portion. The pulling assembly includes a driving rod and a cup member, the driving rod is movably disposed on the base portion, the cup member is connected to the driving rod and swingable relative to the axis, and the cup member is between the two arm portions.
HYDRAULIC PISTON RESETTING TOOL FOR DISK BRAKE
