Rotor bit removal device
A bit removal device may include a support, an extractor coupled to the support, and an actuator. The support is configured to engage a bit holder from a front side of the bit holder. The extractor is configured to engage a bit from the front side of the bit holder. The actuator is configured to move the extractor relative to the support to extract the bit from the bit holder.
Arm removal system
An arm removal system for removing an arm. The system includes an anvil, and a removal assembly with at least two jackscrews. The arm has an extension radially extending from the arm and an arm outer surface. The arm is disposed within a wedge shaped collet that is disposed within a socket in an aircraft with an aircraft outer surface. The removal assembly includes an extension engaging surface and threaded jackscrew holes for accepting the jackscrews, such that when the jackscrews are tightened within the jackscrew holes, the jackscrews apply force on the anvil and the aircraft outer surface in the direction away from the removal assembly such that the arm is eventually removed entirely from the aircraft.
TORQUE ROD PRESS TOOLS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A press tool for disconnecting a torque rod assembly from a structural support comprising an anchor plate, a brace plate, a drive rod supported by the brace plate, and a plurality of spacing members operatively connected to the anchor plate and the brace plate such that the press tool defines a tool opening. At least a portion of the torque rod end and the structural support are passed through the tool opening such that the anchor plate engages at least a portion of the structural member. The drive rod is axially rotated relative to the brace plate such that the drive rod engages at least a portion of the torque rod assembly and displaces the torque rod assembly relative to the structural support.
Tool and method for inserting and removing components
A tool for inserting and removing components, in particular bearings, bushes or the like, particularly in the automotive sector, has a spindle, a first sleeve body having a first ramp-form outer circumferential surface and a through-hole, through which the spindle can be axially guided, a second sleeve body having a second ramp-form outer circumferential surface and a through-hole, through which the spindle can be axially guided, and also a first pressure body and a second pressure body.
Disassembly tool for electrostatic chuck
The present disclosure relates to a tool for disassembling an electrostatic chuck assembly and, more particularly, to a tool for separating an electrostatic chuck and isolator and methods of use. The tool includes: a cradle having a sidewall; a pressing frame having legs which are positionable adjacent to the sidewall of the cradle and an upper connecting member connecting to each of the legs, the upper connecting member being positionable over a top of the cradle and having at least one opening; and at least one mechanism extending through the at least one opening of the pressing frame, the at least one mechanism being moveable to exert a downward pressure on an electrostatic chuck suspended within the cradle.
Puller Tool and Adapter
A puller tool comprises a cross bar with a central portion having a through hole defining a first axis; a forcing screw configured to extend through the through hole; and an adapter detachably attached to the cross bar and having a threaded hole defining a second axis for the forcing screw, and wherein the first axis and second axis are substantially aligned. The adapter comprises a threaded hole configured to receive the forcing screw and defining a second axis, wherein the first axis and second axis are substantially aligned; a base portion containing the threaded hole and arrangeable adjacent a first axial side of the cross bar; at least a first wall portion extending away from the base portion and arrangeable adjacent to a first lateral side of the central portion of the cross bar, and wherein the adapter is detachably attachable to the cross bar.
CORE PULLING TOOL
A faucet valve cartridge pulling tool comprising a housing, a stem screw, and a collar. The housing has a first end and a second end. The first end has a surface adapted to abut a portion of a faucet valve body. The stem screw has a first end and a second end. The stem screw includes a first threaded section and a second threaded section. The first threaded section is adapted to engage internal threading of a faucet valve cartridge stem located within the faucet valve body. The collar has internal threading engaging the second threaded section of the stem screw. Wherein, rotating the collar relative to the stem screw pulls the first threaded portion axially towards the second end of the housing.
Joint press adapter
A slip-on adapter that is adapted to be coupled to existing adapters that have already been developed. The slip-on adapter couples to existing adapters by positive retention on either the outside diameter or inside diameter of the existing adapter. For example, the slip-on adapter can include an O-ring that grips the outside diameter of the existing adapter that it is slipped onto. The slip-on adapter can also be used as a “flip adapter” with different geometries at both ends for use with two different size ball joints. This allows for less expensive adapters for new size ball joints by connecting to existing adapters, rather than requiring full machining of a new adapter.
Faucet cartridge removal tool and method of operation
A faucet cartridge removal tool includes a cylindrical sleeve having an interior diameter configured such that a pipe holding a faucet cartridge fits within the cylindrical sleeve, a length configured such that a distal end of the cylindrical sleeve contacts a base of the pipe holding the faucet cartridge; a tubular extractor rod that extends through the cylindrical sleeve, the rod having a threaded exterior surface configured to thread through the threaded orifice of the cylindrical sleeve, a threaded interior surface of the rod, and a notch at a distal end, the notch configured to accept a faucet cartridge; a locking bolt that extends through the extractor rod, the bolt having a threaded exterior surface configured to thread through the threaded interior surface of the rod, wherein the threaded exterior surface at a distal end of the rod is configured to thread through a threaded orifice in the faucet cartridge.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR REMOVING A COMPONENT
An apparatus is provided for removing a component from a device, where the component includes a cylindrical portion and a shoulder adjacent the cylindrical portion. The apparatus includes a base, a puller and a shaft. The base includes a first mount, a second mount and a bridge extending between and connected to the first mount and the second mount. The first mount and the second mount are each configured to engage with the device. The puller includes a forked flange configured to abut against the shoulder of the component when the cylindrical portion of the component is within a channel of the forked flange. The shaft includes a threaded portion mated with a threaded aperture in the bridge. A distal end portion of the shaft is rotatably connected to the puller.
