Hydraulic System of a Tool
An example tool includes a hydraulic actuator cylinder; a piston slidably accommodated within the hydraulic actuator cylinder, where the piston includes a piston head and a piston rod extending from the piston head along a central axis direction of the hydraulic actuator cylinder, the piston head divides an inside of the hydraulic actuator cylinder into a first chamber and a second chamber, and the piston rod is disposed in the first chamber and configured to move one or more jaws of the tool; a pump configured to provide pressurized fluid; and a sequence valve configured to block the pressurized fluid from flowing into the second chamber of the hydraulic actuator cylinder until pressure of the pressurized fluid exceeds a threshold pressure value.
Power end hub puller kit apparatus and methods
A hub puller kit for pulling hubs off of power ends of frac pumps, and a method of removing a hub from a pinion shaft of a power end using the hub puller kit. The hub puller kit has an adapter flange formed out of a monolithic body with fastener openings, and a hydraulic actuator coupled to the adapter flange. The adapter flange has a stepped surface formed on a first surface and a recessed surface formed in a second surface, and a central opening having a threaded flange portion that extends from the stepped surface to the recessed surface. The hydraulic actuator has a hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic plunger disposed at least partially within the hydraulic cylinder, and a threaded actuator portion that engages the threaded flange portion to couple the hydraulic actuator to the adapter flange.
Hydraulic tool for a pulling and/or pressing device
Hydraulic tool for driving a pulling and/or pressing device, comprising a drive shaft that can be mounted to a screwdriver, wherein the drive shaft is operable to drive a hydraulic pump that pumps hydraulic fluid into the operating chamber of a hydraulic power piston. The hydraulic tool may in particular be configured as a riveting or punching attachment for a cordless screwdriver.
Tool for installing a wedge in a slot of a stator core
A tool (110) is presented for installing a wedge (104) in a slot (101) of a stator core (100). The tool (110) includes a housing (112) and a shaft (128) extending axially from the housing. An end of the shaft (128) is positioned in the slot (101) on a first side of the wedge (104) to engage a wedge surface (118). The tool (110) further includes a pump (120) operatively coupled to the shaft (128) to actuate the shaft in an axial direction (122) external to the housing (112) to install the wedge in the slot. The tool (110) further includes a tongue (124) inserted in a vent gap (126) of the slot (101) on the first side of the wedge to brace the tool against the slot during the installation of the wedge. A system (200) and method (300) are also presented for installing the wedge.
Fluid filter installation tool
An installation tool for one or more components of a fluid filter includes a first body portion configured to engage a filter socket to advance the tool and filter components into the socket, and a second body portion configured to apply a direct force to one or more filter components. The first and second body portions can rotationally move relative to each other, such that the filter components may not grind against the socket or other filter components, which can, among other things, reduce or eliminate the creation of foreign object debris and/or minimize the amount of human force required to install the filter components.
Universal joint dismantling tool
A universal joint (U-joint) dismantling tool includes an actuator coupled to a yoke. The yoke has two substantially parallel legs, spaced to form a pull channel therebetween. Each yoke leg terminates in a free end defining a foot surface. The actuator is adapted to substantially linearly draw a puller at least partially along a length of the yoke pull channel, thereby increasing a distance between a pull surface and the yoke foot surfaces.
WEAR PART REMOVAL SYSTEM
A wear part removal system includes a first wedge assembly configured to engage with a first joint associated with a wear part; a second wedge assembly configured to engage with a second joint associated with the wear part; a ram component configured to cause the first wedge assembly to engage with the first joint associated with the wear part and to cause the second wedge assembly to engage with the second joint associated with the wear part; and a frame configured to hold the first wedge assembly, the second wedge assembly, and the ram component. A wedge assembly, of the first wedge assembly or the second wedge assembly, includes a wedge component configured to engage with a joint associated with the wear part and a wedge component saddle configured to hold the wedge component.
Hydraulic brake caliper piston/plunger tool
A hydraulic brake caliper piston/plunger tool includes a handle, a barrel with rear and front tubes, and a shaft. The handle is provided therein with a fluid reservoir and a fluid chamber, and pivotally connected with an operation lever having a plunger inserted into the fluid chamber. The shaft is attached with a piston and fitted through the rear tube, the barrel and the front tube. A return spring is fitted around the shaft in a central hole of the barrel, between the piston and the front tube. A front end of the shaft is adapted to be fitted with an accessory for a disc brake. A rear end of the shaft is adapted to be connected with a turning tool. In use, alternately depressing and releasing the operation lever enables fluid to enter the central hole of the barrel to have the piston together with the shaft moved forward.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRELOADING A BEARING AND INSTALLING A TAMPER INDICATING MEMBER
An apparatus for use in connecting a cover member to a retaining member coupled to a nut mounted to a shaft includes a body portion, arms, and a plurality of pressing members. The arms extend from the body portion relative to the nut such that contacting portions of the arms contact a rear side of the nut to connect the body portion to the nut. The plurality of pressing members extend from the body portion and is alignable with the plurality of tabs of a cover member when the cover member is located between the body and the nut. The body portion includes a press mechanism configured to cause a first pressing member of the pressing members to contact a first tab of the cover member to deform the first tab toward a retaining member coupled to the nut mounted on the shaft.
HYDRODYNAMIC COMPRESSION OR CUTTING TOOL
A hydrodynamic compression or cutting tool comprises a housing, an electric motor arranged in the housing and having a motor rotational axis, a gripping portion formed by the housing and extending around the motor and along the motor rotational axis, a hydraulic pump arranged inside the housing and which can be driven by the motor so as to move a actuating piston along a actuating axis, a transmission mechanism arranged inside the housing between the motor and the hydraulic pump, two jaws connected to the housing and to the actuating piston, and which can be moved between an open position and a closed position for carrying out the compression or cut, wherein the actuating axis and the motor rotational axis are reciprocally parallel and offset.
