An extracting tool for extracting a metal piece located in an aerodynamic stream of a turbomachine, such as a flow splitter nose, includes a rod; a first stop located at a distal end of the rod and provided with a claw for bearing against a first edge of the metal piece; a gripping member translationally mounted to the rod and including a first projecting portion arranged to receive a second, opposite edge of the metal piece; a tightening mechanism configured to keep the gripping member bearing against the metal piece and the first stop.

An adjusting assembly of a brake cylinder installation device is provided, including: a fixing member; a guiding member, connected to the fixing member along an axis thereof, the guiding member having a plurality of sliding grooves therethrough and around the axis; a rotatable body, rotatably arranged between the fixing member and the guiding member, the rotatable body having a plurality of guiding grooves which correspond to the sliding grooves; a plurality of positioning pillars, respectively arranged between the sliding grooves and the guiding grooves, when the rotatable body rotates, the positioning pillars move linearly within the sliding grooves; wherein each said positioning pillar further includes a barrel portion and a rod portion which are retractably connected with each other.
Pin puller for crane connections
A pin puller is mounted between first and second connectors, preferably connectors on a lift crane, each of the connectors having a hole there though. The pin puller includes: a) first and second support frame members; b) a first pin with a first end located in the hole of the first connector and a second end inside the first support frame member; c) a second pin with a first end located in the hole of the second connector and a second end inside the second support frame member; d) at least one linear actuator connected to the first and second pins; and e) a length adjustment device between the first and second support frame members, with its length adjusted so as to force the first support frame member into contact with the first connector and the second support frame member into contact with the second connector.
Pin puller for crane connections
A pin puller is mounted between first and second connectors, preferably connectors on a lift crane, each of the connectors having a hole there though. The pin puller includes: a) first and second support frame members; b) a first pin with a first end located in the hole of the first connector and a second end inside the first support frame member; c) a second pin with a first end located in the hole of the second connector and a second end inside the second support frame member; d) at least one linear actuator connected to the first and second pins; and e) a length adjustment device between the first and second support frame members, with its length adjusted so as to force the first support frame member into contact with the first connector and the second support frame member into contact with the second connector.

A press tool for disconnecting a torque rod assembly from a structural support comprising an anchor plate, a brace plate, a drive rod supported by the brace plate, and a plurality of spacing members operatively connected to the anchor plate and the brace plate such that the press tool defines a tool opening. At least a portion of the torque rod end and the structural support are passed through the tool opening such that the anchor plate engages at least a portion of the structural member. The drive rod is axially rotated relative to the brace plate such that the drive rod engages at least a portion of the torque rod assembly and displaces the torque rod assembly relative to the structural support.
Track Spike Removal Adapter
A track spike removal adapter is provided. The track spike removal adapter includes a body. The body has a first end and a second end. The first end has a wrench. The wrench has an opening that has a pair of parallel sides and a pair of curved sides. The opening, which is designed to receive a distal end of a track spike, extends into the body. A faucet cartridge removal tool includes a cylindrical sleeve having an interior diameter configured such that a pipe holding a faucet cartridge fits within the cylindrical sleeve, a length configured such that a distal end of the cylindrical sleeve contacts a base of the pipe holding the faucet cartridge; a tubular extractor rod that extends through the cylindrical sleeve, the rod having a threaded exterior surface configured to thread through the threaded orifice of the cylindrical sleeve, a threaded interior surface of the rod, and a notch at a distal end, the notch configured to accept a faucet cartridge; a locking bolt that extends through the extractor rod, the bolt having a threaded exterior surface configured to thread through the threaded interior surface of the rod, wherein the threaded exterior surface at a distal end of the rod is configured to thread through a threaded orifice in the faucet cartridge.

The invention relates to a mobile, in particular portable, pin pulling device for pulling/inserting pins for connecting components of a construction machine, in particular of a crane, wherein the pin pulling device is designed in compact construction and has at least one electric drive having a rechargeable battery and a linear actuator drivable by the drive to move at least one pin.
System and Method for Installing a Manifold Plug
The present disclosure relates to an insert and system of installing the same. The insert includes a tapered core and a cylinder. The core releasably secures to an installation device which includes a depth stop or a depth control to control the installation depth of the insert. The insert may be provided in a tray that allows for easier handling of the inserts and installation thereof in installation holes, for example in a hydraulic manifold. In some cases, the core includes a threaded hole to releasably secure the insert to the installation device, thus allowing the installation device to pull the core into the cylinder. The core and cylinder may be made of metallic materials such as steels, steel alloys and others. In some cases the insert can withstand blow out pressures of 40,000 psi or higher.
