System and method for installing a manifold plug
The present disclosure relates to an insert and system of installing the same. The insert includes a tapered core and a cylinder. The core releasably secures to an installation device which includes a depth stop or a depth control to control the installation depth of the insert. The insert may be provided in a tray that allows for easier handling of the inserts and installation thereof in installation holes, for example in a hydraulic manifold. In some cases, the core includes a threaded hole to releasably secure the insert to the installation device, thus allowing the installation device to pull the core into the cylinder. The core and cylinder may be made of metallic materials such as steels, steel alloys and others. In some cases the insert can withstand blow out pressures of 40,000 psi or higher.
FASTENER PIN REMOVAL TOOL
Examples provide a method and apparatus for fastener pin removal. A fastener pin removal tool includes a tool body having a workpiece interface surface, a threaded hole and opposing side edges. A fitting is coupled to the end of the threaded screw that is proximate the workpiece interface surface. The fitting includes a keyhole-slot configured to receive the head of a pin. The keyhole-slot defines a set of spaced-apart jaws configured to engage the head of the pin that is received within the keyhole-slot. A rotational end-piece is coupled to the threaded screw and rotates to cause the fitting and the set of spaced-apart jaws to pull the head of the pin received within the keyhole-slot. As the rotational end-piece pulls the pin head, the pin is removed from a workpiece.
TOOL FOR INSTALLING A BIT ON AND/OR DEINSTALLING A BIT FROM A BIT HOLDER SYSTEM OF A MILLING MACHINE
The invention relates to a tool for installing a bit on and/or deinstalling a bit from a bit holder system of a milling machine, in particular a road milling machine, having at least one initiator with which installation and/or deinstallation of a bit is initiated. Provision is made that the tool comprises a detection device having at least one counting device; and that the detection device is designed to detect a number of bits deinstalled using the tool and/or a number of bits installed using the tool. The invention also relates to a corresponding bit holder system and to a method for monitoring wear. With the tool and the bit holder system, additional information regarding bit changes that have been carried out is made available to a user.

Fastener pushing mechanism
A fastener pushing mechanism is provided for an object. The object includes a base, at least one fastener and at least one insertion hole disposed through the base. The fastener is detachably inserted into the insertion hole and positioned on the base. The fastener pushing mechanism includes a main body assembly and a driving assembly. The main body assembly includes a connecting portion and a driving portion and a seat which are disposed at two opposite ends of the connecting portion. The seat includes a hole for receiving the fastener. The driving assembly is attached to the driving portion and movable along the movement path. One of the main body assembly and the driving assembly is abutted against the base and the other is abutted against the fastener. As the driving assembly is driven, the driving assembly drives the fastener to move relative to the base.
Truck anchor pin bushing driver
A tool for use in combination with an air hammer for removing and/or installing an anchor pin bushing. The tool includes a drive shaft and an adaptor that is removably attachable to the drive shaft. A first end of the drive shaft is configured for removable attachment to an air hammer. A second end of the drive shaft is configured for removable attachment with the adaptor. The adaptor includes a flanged end and a notched end. Both the flanged end and notched end include a counterbore sized and configured to fit over an anchor pin. The notched end of the adaptor is used for removing an anchor pin bushing and the flanged end of the adaptor is used to install an anchor pin bushing.
