The invention relates to a system for producing a sealed connection of a press connector to a workpiece, in particular to a pipe, preferably to a plastic pipe, with a pressing tool for pressing a press connector and with a pressure tool for driving the pressing tool. The pressure tool is arranged to output a hydraulic pressure at a pressure generation point The pressing tool is arranged to receive a hydraulic pressure at a pressing location and to press a press connector accordingly. The pressure tool and the pressing tool are connected via a hydraulic pressure transmission connection, the pressure generation location and the pressing location being remote from each other. A corresponding method for producing a tight connection of a press connector to a workpiece, in particular to a pipe made of a flexible material, preferably a plastic pipe, as well as a press force translator and a press tool are also described.

CRIMPING PLIERS

Crimping pliers include a clamping assembly including a left jaw and a right jaw, a control mechanism, and a rotating button mechanism. The left jaw includes a left connecting portion and a left head. The right jaw includes a right connecting portion and a right head. The control mechanism drives the clamping assembly to switch between a clamping state and an open state. The rotating button mechanism includes a first connecting plate connected to the right connecting portion, an eccentric shaft, a rotating button connected to the eccentric shaft, and a limiting structure connected to the rotating button to limit a rotating range of the rotating button. The first connecting plate is rotatably connected to the left connecting portion through the eccentric shaft. The rotating button adjusts a distance between the left connecting portion and the right connecting portion by driving the eccentric shaft to eccentrically rotate.

Hose crimping assembly

A crimping method including providing a coupling including a sidewall and a ribbed stem having a plurality of radial valleys, the ribbed stem defining a longitudinal axis, wherein the first sidewall extends radially to the axis, and providing a die including a stop and a channel extending through the stop, the channel having a ribbed section with a plurality of ribs. The ribbed stem is inserted through the first stop, into the first channel and into the end of a hose. With a ferrule arranged between the ribbed section and the hose and the sidewall pressed against the stop, the die is used to compress the end of the hose between the ferrule and the ribbed stem with the plurality of radial valleys radially aligned with the plurality of ribs. The couplings are selected from a medical gas medical gas outlet rough-in and a medical gas nut nipple.
