The crimping plier of the present invention includes an abutting member, a crimping member, a crimping tooth member, a cover plate, and a driving mechanism. The abutting member has a crimping hole for placing the connection terminal. The crimping member is adjacent to the crimping hole, and one end of an elastic element abuts against the crimping member. The crimping tooth member is fixedly disposed on the crimping member. The cover plate is connected to the abutting member and covers the crimping member, and the cover plate is also in contact with the other end of the elastic element. The driving mechanism is in contact with the crimping member to push the crimping member and the crimping tooth member. When the crimping member and the crimping tooth member slide, the elastic element provides an elastic force between the crimping member and the cover plate.

A device is provided for inserting coil inserts into threaded holes. The device includes an insertion tool having a manipulator end which is configured to receive and hold a coil insert, and which is operable to apply a torque to the coil insert to screw the coil insert into a threaded hole when presented thereto, the manipulator end having an insertion axis which is coincident with the axis of the coil insert when held by the manipulator end. The device further includes a tool support to which the insertion tool is mounted, the tool support being fixable to an end of a robot arm whereby the manipulator end is presentable by the robot arm to the threaded hole for insertion therein of the coil insert.

Wire thread insert consisting of a body with a plurality of helically wound windings, in which the plurality of helically wound windings comprises a first end winding and a second end winding which define the body at opposite axial ends, the first end winding has a first integral form-fitting means in a first end section and the second end winding has a second integral form-fitting means in a second end section, so that in an installed state of the wire thread insert a form-fit rotation-inhibiting connection with an adjacent component structure can be produced via the first and the second integral form-fitting means respectively.

An insert insertion tool includes a mandrel on which an insert is mounted, and a coating member. The coating member is configured to apply ink to a rear end of the insert on an opposite side of a tip end of the insert that first enters a tap hole. Accordingly, the insert inserted into the tap hole stands out on a surface of a workpiece, and a user is capable of visually recognizing whether or not the insert has been inserted into the tap hole. Thus, the confirmation work becomes easy, and it is possible to improve the work efficiency.

An apparatus for securing an insert in a hole, the insert having an axis, a section comprising a thread disposed around the axis and a section comprising a plurality of splines, and the hole having a section comprising a corresponding thread and a section comprising a plurality of grooves corresponding to said splines, the apparatus comprising a driver arranged to rotate the insert, a torque measurement device arranged to measure the driving torque applied by the driver, and a controller arranged to cause the driver to drive the insert into the hole until the splines are level in the axial direction with the grooves by rotating the insert in a first direction, and align the splines with the grooves by causing the driver to further rotate the threaded insert whilst measuring the driving torque using the torque measuring device, and stopping the further rotation based on the measured driving torque.

A tongue break-off tool includes a hook member configured to have a hook hooked onto a tongue of an insert with a tongue that is inserted into a tap hole, a moving member configured to move the hook member in a diagonal direction diagonally intersecting an extending direction of the tap hole from a far side to a near side of the tap hole to break off the tongue from the insert with a tongue, and a holding member configured to hold the tongue broken off from the insert with a tongue.

An insert insertion tool includes a mandrel on which an insert is mounted, and a coating member. A tongue break-off tool includes a hook member configured to have a hook hooked onto a tongue of an insert with a tongue that is inserted into a tap hole, a moving member configured to move the hook member in a diagonal direction diagonally intersecting an extending direction of the tap hole from a far side to a near side of the tap hole to break off the tongue from the insert with a tongue, and a holding member configured to hold the tongue broken off from the insert with a tongue.

A locking sleeve includes an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve sleevedly disposed thereon. The inner sleeve has an inner body and a shank extending outwards from the inner body. The outer sleeve has an outer body where an engagement space is enclosed and opposite first and second ends are respectively defined and a plurality of slots cutting into the outer body and extending from the second end to divide the outer body into a plurality of clamping portions with elasticity. Each clamping portion has an engagement unit formed on an edge thereof. When a head of a fastening unit is situated in the engagement space, the engagement units clamp and engage the head so that the fastening unit is quickly and firmly positioned to facilitate the following fastening operation, and the locking sleeve is more convenient to use.

A fastening system including a tool and at least one insert. The tool may include an input shaft having a hardness and an output shaft having the same hardness as the input shaft. The input shaft and the output shaft may be connected to each other and may define an internal tube along a longitudinal axis of the tool. A cylindrical insert may define a receiving tube that is configured to receive the output shaft.
