Pin assist devices, hitch pins, and hitch pin assemblies
A pin assist device that eliminates the need to use a separate tool to insert and/or extract a cotter, or other fastening, pin. The pin assist device allows the user to easily insert or extract a pin in locations that are difficult to reach, in all types of weather and virtually all conditions. Related pin assist devices, hitch pins, and hitch pin assemblies are also disclosed.
CLIP INSTALLATION TOOLS
A clip installation tool that includes a shaft defining a first bore centered around a central axis. The first bore receives a spring therein. The clip installation tool further includes a movable portion partially disposed within the first bore and in contact with the spring. The movable portion defines a second bore. The clip installation tool further includes a stopper extending at least partially within the second bore and a handle coupled to the shaft.

Power transmission shaft
A power transmission shaft is interposed between a first shaft section and a second shaft section. The power transmission shaft comprises: a cylindrical section rotated integrally with a shaft section and formed cylindrically; a through hole disposed in the cylindrical section and penetrated radially with respect to a rotational axial line, each of a pair of vehicle side rotational shaft sections having an engagement groove disposed on an outer peripheral side of the pair of vehicle side rotational shaft sections and extended in a direction around the rotational axial line and the engagement groove being exposed from the through hole; and a retaining ring (circlip) disposed to enclose at least a portion of the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical section, a portion of the retaining ring being inserted into the through hole from the outer peripheral side of the cylindrical section and being engaged with the engagement groove.
Method and tool for engaging and disengaging insulator cotter keys
A tool to remove or insert cotter keys in insulator bells having an L-shaped handle, with at least one depression on a generally flat butt end surface of the handle, a generally cylindrical rigid L-shaped member extending from the distal portion of the handle that terminates at a distal end in a second generally cylindrical tab having a smaller cross section than that of the rigid member. The method involves leveraging the member on an insulator cap while the tab is in a cotter key or for insertion, pressing the handle butt end at a depression against the key. The handle may be formed of two halves, be a unified body of synthetic material, be pliable and have an ergonomic shape, and the tab can be any of a variety of cross sectional shapes. The handle and extension may also be integrally formed and be made of similar materials.

Device for bending a split pin
The invention relates to a device (18) for bending a split pin (4) for securing the position of a workpiece (2), in particular for securing a castellated nut against rotation. The device has a tool body (22) and a holding component (20) for holding the split pin (4) during a bending procedure. The holding component (20) is mounted so as to be rotatable on the tool body (22). The device (18) has a bending element (26) that is disposed on the tool body (22) such that an end of a split pin (4) that is held on the holding component (20) is capable of being bent back by a relative rotation on the bending element (26), in particular in a manner so as to be flush with the shape of the workpiece (2), between the holding component (20) and the tool body (22).

Support stand
A stand for supporting a garbage disposal on a generally horizontal support surface includes threaded shaft with a platform at a top end thereof. A manually-actuable knob engages the threaded shaft to raise or lower the shaft and platform with respect to a base adapted for resting on the support surface and slidably receiving the threaded shaft therein. An alignment tool used for aligning a split retainer ring for receipt in an exterior ring groove formed around the exterior of a lower peripheral of a sink drain fitting may be included that works with the threaded rod and platform to facilitate installation of the split retainer ring on the sink drain fitting, providing dual use for the threaded shaft and platform.
