A bushing displacing system comprising an engaging member and a brace member. The engaging member is configured to engage the brace assembly to displace the engaging member in the displacement direction and at least a portion of the bushing assembly to displace at least a portion of the bushing assembly in the displacement direction. The brace member is adapted to engage the brace assembly and the structural member. Operation of the actuator displaces at least one of the brace assembly and the engaging member in the displacement direction relative to the structural member such that the engaging member displaces at least a portion of the bushing assembly towards a desired position relative to the housing opening in the structural member.

Bushing handle

A bushing handle for use with a renewable bushing. The bushing handle facilitates a quick-change configuration by using a liner bushing disposed in a through bore. The liner bushing can accept a plurality of different renewable bushings having various inner diameters and other characteristics, eliminating the need to stock and store a multitude of different bushing handles. The liner bushing may be a lock liner, which facilitates the quick-change function, and provides a ground inner diameter, which is more resistant to wear and tear than the light metal construction of the handle itself.

Methods for separating rotor blade cuffs from rotor blade bodies

A rotor blade disassembly method includes applying spanwise support to a rotor blade body and heating a bond disposed on an end of the rotor blade body. The method also includes removing the spanwise support from the rotor blade body and exerting shear stress on the bond using weight of the rotor blade body. A blade disassembly system is also described.
