The driving-out portion is configured to idle-drive without driving out the fastener from the injection port in a state where the connected fastener is accommodated in the magazine.

The magazine 20 includes: a plate-shaped base member 20a extending in a front and back direction B1 and configured to catch the fastener to be movable in the front and back direction B1; a feeder 20b switchable between a contact state representing contact with the fastener caught with the base member 20a and a contactless state representing contactless with the fastener at time of movement in the front and back direction B1; and a guiding portion guiding movement of the feeder 20b in the front and back direction B1. The working machine includes a detector 21 detecting a position of the feeder 20b in the front and back direction B1.

A fastener driver includes a housing having a handle portion. A motor is positioned within the housing. The fastener driver further includes an air compressor including a compressor cylinder and a compressor piston movable within the compressor cylinder in a reciprocating manner to compress air within the compressor cylinder. The fastener driver further includes a drive train converting torque from the motor to a linear force applied to the compressor piston, causing the compressor piston to move in the reciprocating manner. At least a portion of the drive train extends through the handle portion of the housing.

The two fastening members extend from the mounting surface and are detachably connected to the machine body unit to secure the dustproof plate between the machine body unit and the muzzle unit.

The powered fastener driver further includes a lockout member pivotally coupled to the nosepiece, and a magnet exerting a magnetic force on the lockout member to bias the lockout member toward a first position. The pusher moves the lockout member to a second position where the lockout member blocks movement of the workpiece contact element when a predetermined number of fasteners remain in the magazine.

The fasting device is configured to, upon actuation of the trigger mechanism, urge a fastener through a leading tab of the plurality of interconnected tabs and into a workpiece to operatively affix the leading tab to the workpiece and also to advance a tab strip, which is defined by a second subset of the plurality of interconnected tabs, toward a fastening region with the tab advance mechanism. The methods include methods of utilizing and/or loading the fastening device.
