20170326715 · 2017-11-16 ·

A drive blade lubrication assembly for use in a powered fastener driver (10). The powered fastener driver (10) contains a drive blade (42) which snap-fits with a reciprocating piston (58) by a blade seal (103) assembly. The drive blade lubrication assembly contains a lubricant applying member adapted to apply lubricant to a portion of the drive blade (42); and a lubricant storing device which is in fluid communication with the lubricant applying member. The lubricating storing device is adapted to replenish the lubricant in the lubricant applying member. A powered fastener driver (10) containing a drive blade lubrication assembly is also described. The use of the lubricant storing device in the present invention ensures that lubricant is continuously supplied to the drive blade (42) after long time usage of the powered fastener driver (10), so that friction between the drive blade and the blade seal assembly is minimized

Staple tool

A pneumatic powered fastener driving tool having components configured, weighted, sized, shaped, placed, and arranged such that a first center of gravity envelope that encompasses a first defined area related to a top section of a trigger of the tool for a first operational state, a second center of gravity envelope that encompasses a second defined area related to a bottom section of the trigger of the tool for a second operational state, and a plurality of third center of gravity envelopes that each encompass an area between the first center of gravity envelope and the second center of gravity envelope for third operational states.

Nailers with jamming-alleviating mechanisms

A fastener tool includes a motor, a drive mechanism connected to the motor and adapted to drive a piston, and a cylinder filled with high-pressure gas. The piston is accommodated in the cylinder and suitable for a reciprocating motion within the cylinder. The drive mechanism includes a blade fixed to the piston and a gear coupled to the motor. The gear contains a plurality of teeth adapted to engage with a plurality of lugs on the blade such that a rotation of the gear is transformed to a linear movement of the blade. The drive mechanism further includes a disengagement module which, within a period of a rotation cycle of the gear, is configured to prevent one of the plurality of teeth from unintentionally engaging with a misaligned one of the lugs.

Fastener-driving tool including a reversion trigger

A fastener-driving tool includes a housing, a workpiece-contacting element movable between a rest position and an activated position, and a trigger movable between a rest position and an activated position. The tool includes an actuation lever movably connected to the trigger and a control valve including an actuating pin and an electromagnet where the actuating pin is movable between a rest position and an activated position. In a powered mode, the electromagnet is energized and attracts the actuation lever to the actuating pin and hold the actuation lever and the actuating pin in respective activated positions such that the tool is actuated each time the workpiece-contacting element contacts a workpiece. In a non-powered mode, the electromagnet is not energized such that the tool is actuated each time the workpiece-contacting element and the trigger are each moved from the rest position to the activated position in a designated sequence.

Guide bushing of palm hammer

A guide bushing of a palm hammer comprises a prism-shaped muzzle cover and a muzzle, wherein the muzzle cover and the muzzle are connected through bolts and joined into a body of the guide bushing; the body of the guide bushing may be axially moved in a bracket of the palm hammer; the parts of the muzzle cover and the muzzle near the distal gradually narrow into a chisel-shape; the proximal of the body of the guide bushing rests against a spring on the hammer body of the palm hammer; the body of the guide bushing axially moves in the bracket; a bore used for accommodating a nail and a driving rod is axially opened on the muzzle; one end of a bumper protrudes out of the distal of the body of the guide bushing.

Driving tool

In a driving tool, during and/or after a driving operation has been completed, a restriction member is retained in an on-position by a cam. An energizing switch is retained in an on-state by an actuation portion of the restriction member. Because of this configuration, if a trigger is released during and/or after the driving operation has been completed, an electric motor continues to be activated, which causes a driver to return to a standby position.
