Stake holding tool
A stake holding tool for holding a stake or post for driving into the ground while the person holding the stake is enabled to maintain a safe distance includes a body having a first end at which a head portion is located, and a second end defining a grip for holding the stake holding tool. The head portion includes a striking section that generally includes a resilient material adapted to absorb shock from impacts; and a stake receiving recess configured to receive stakes or posts of various sizes and configurations.
Set tool assembly for driving a fastener into a workpiece
A set tool may comprise a handle member and a fastener retention member modularly coupled with the handle member. A permanent magnet may be positioned within a portion of the handle member and may be used to secure a ferromagnetic fastener within a fastener retention recess formed within the fastener retention member, when the fastener retention member is engaged with the handle member.
Staple set tool
A tool for holding a fastener during an alignment and setting operation may include a body structure that defines a first alignment channel configured to receive therein an object to be fastened to a workpiece. A first staple retention feature may be positioned at an end of the first alignment channel and configured to align a first staple relative to the first alignment channel such that opposite legs of the first staple are on opposite sides of the first alignment channel. The body structure may further define a second alignment channel configured to receive therein the object to be fastened to the workpiece, and a second staple retention feature may be positioned at an end of the second alignment channel and configured to align a second staple relative to the second alignment channel such that opposite legs of the second staple are on opposite sides of the second alignment channel.
