POWER TOOL
A tool is provided for applying fasteners to a workpiece. The tool has a housing with a nosepiece, a motor, a drive actuator, a magazine assembly that holds fasteners, and a feed assembly with a feed actuator configured to move a lead fastener into the nosepiece. A driver in the housing is driven by a drive system that is associated with the driver actuator. A controller is connected to the feed actuator and the drive actuator to implement a firing sequence for driving each lead fastener into the workpiece using the driver and feeding the lead fastener into the nosepiece assembly. The actuators may be in the form of solenoids. The controller is designed to energize and deenergize the motor selectively while the drive actuator and feed actuator are activated.

Striking device
A striking device includes a swing arm unit, an impact member and two restoring units. Each of the restoring units includes a stationary seat removably connected to the swing arm unit, a moving seat removably and co-movably connected to the impact member, first and second coupling sets, and a resilient member interconnecting the stationary seat and the moving seat to bias the moving seat toward the stationary seat. For each of the restoring units, two portions of the first coupling set are formed respectively on the stationary seat and the swing arm unit and coupled removably with each other, and two portions of the second coupling set are formed respectively on the moving seat and the impact member and coupled removably with each other.
Striking device
A striking device includes a swing arm unit, an impact member and two restoring units. Each of the restoring units includes a stationary seat removably connected to the swing arm unit, a moving seat removably and co-movably connected to the impact member, first and second coupling sets, and a resilient member interconnecting the stationary seat and the moving seat to bias the moving seat toward the stationary seat. For each of the restoring units, two portions of the first coupling set are formed respectively on the stationary seat and the swing arm unit and coupled removably with each other, and two portions of the second coupling set are formed respectively on the moving seat and the impact member and coupled removably with each other.
Electric stapler, post-processing device, and image forming system
An electric stapler includes a clamp part that is configured to include a first wall portion and a second wall portion for gripping a paper bundle, a penetration part that causes a staple to penetrate the paper bundle gripped by the clamp part, a clinch part that bends the staple penetrating the paper bundle to bind the paper bundle, a gripping release detection unit that detects that the paper bundle is released from gripping after the first wall portion moves in the direction of separating from the second wall portion from a state where the paper bundle is gripped by the clamp part; and an output unit that, after it is detected that the paper bundle is released from gripping of the clamp part, outputs a gripping release signal indicating that the paper bundle is released from gripping of the clamp part to an outside.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A powered staple driver includes a magazine configured to receive staples and a nosepiece having a staple driving channel from which consecutive staples from the magazine are driven, the staple driving channel extending along a driving axis. The magazine obliquely extends from the nosepiece in both a first plane containing the driving axis and a second plane that is perpendicular to the driving axis.

A powered staple driver includes a magazine configured to receive staples and a nosepiece having a staple driving channel from which consecutive staples from the magazine are driven, the staple driving channel extending along a driving axis. The magazine obliquely extends from the nosepiece in both a first plane containing the driving axis and a second plane that is perpendicular to the driving axis.
Stapling device
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery-powered stapling tool. In one embodiment, the stapling tool includes a drive wheel, a cam drivable by the drive wheel in a first rotational direction from a first position to a second position and back to the first position to carry out a staple-driving process, a motor operably connected to the drive wheel to drive the drive wheel, a lifting element defining a slide in which the cam is received, and an ejector connected to the lifting element and drivable by the lifting element between an ejector home position and an ejector ejection position. The slide has first and second slide segments that are transverse to one another. The lifting element is movable between a lifting-element home position and a lifting-element ejection position.
Stapling device
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a battery-powered stapling tool. In one embodiment, the stapling tool includes a drive wheel, a cam drivable by the drive wheel in a first rotational direction from a first position to a second position and back to the first position to carry out a staple-driving process, a motor operably connected to the drive wheel to drive the drive wheel, a lifting element defining a slide in which the cam is received, and an ejector connected to the lifting element and drivable by the lifting element between an ejector home position and an ejector ejection position. The slide has first and second slide segments that are transverse to one another. The lifting element is movable between a lifting-element home position and a lifting-element ejection position.
Forced air cooling from piston movements of nailer tool
A fastener driving tool that forces air from its variable venting volume beneath the piston of the working cylinder and directs that forced air through passageways and toward an electronic controller and/or an electric motor before being vented to atmosphere, thereby drawing heat away from those components during an operational cycle of the movable piston. When the piston returns to its initial position, environmental air is drawn through the same passageways, again past the electronic controller and/or electric motor, thereby twice cooling these “hot” components during a single operational cycle.
