POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
20220241946 · 2022-08-04 ·

A fastener driver includes a housing, a cylinder disposed within the housing, a piston positioned and moveable within the cylinder, and a driver blade. The driver blade includes a body defining a first end having an aperture defined therein and a second end opposite the first end. The aperture is sized to receive a fastener to attach the driver blade to the piston. The driver blade is moveable with the piston from a first position toward a second position along a longitudinal axis during a fastener driving operation. A nosepiece at least partially defining a fastener driving track through which fasteners are driven. A total length of the fastener driver as measured between a distal end of the nosepiece and a distal end of the cylinder is less than 11.4 inches (289.6 mm).

Striking tool

A striking tool includes: a driver which is provided to be slidable toward an ejecting port provided in a tip end of the striking tool so as to strike out a fastener from the ejecting port; a plunger to which the driver is coupled; a plunger urging member which is configured to urge the plunger toward the ejecting port: and a drive mechanism which is configured to move the plunger to accumulate urging force in the plunger urging member. A standby position of the plunger before striking out the fastener can be switched between a usual standby position and a standby position for maintenance closer to the ejecting port than the usual standby position.

POWERED FASTENER DRIVER

A fastener driver includes a housing defining a head portion and a handle portion, a drive mechanism positioned within the housing, and a firing mechanism. The firing mechanism includes a primary guide member supported within the head portion of the housing, a secondary guide member spaced from the primary guide member and supported within the head portion of the housing, a piston slidable along the primary guide member and the secondary guide member, a driver blade attached to the piston and configured to be movable along a drive axis, and a biasing member configured to move the piston and the driver blade from a top dead center (TDC) position toward a bottom dead center (BDC) position. A lifter assembly is operated by the drive mechanism to return the piston and the driver blade towards the TDC position, against the bias of the biasing member.

RELOAD ASSEMBLY FOR CIRCULAR STAPLING DEVICES
20220088759 · 2022-03-24 ·

A reload assembly includes a shell housing, a knife carrier, a lockout component, and a hook component. The lockout component is supported on an inner wall of the knife carrier and has a body formed of a resilient material that defines a window. The hook component is supported on the inner housing portion of the shell housing and includes a body having a hook that is received within the window of the lockout component when the knife carrier is in its retracted position after the reload assembly has been fired to obstruct readvancement of the knife carrier.

Electric stapler
11285593 · 2022-03-29 · ·

An electric stapler includes a main body, a handle, a striking assembly, and a safety mechanism between the main body and the handle. The handle is movable with respect to the main body between an original position and an unlock position. The striking assembly includes a striking mechanism for striking the staple out and a trigger switch on the handle for triggering the striking mechanism. The trigger switch has a strikable state and a locking state. When the handle is at the original position, the safety mechanism is at a locking mode to make the trigger switch at the locking state. When the handle is at the unlock position, the safety mechanism is at an unlock mode to make the trigger switch at the strikable state. An angle between the moving direction of the handle and the striking direction is smaller than 90 degrees.
