DRIVING TOOL
A driving tool comprises a tool main body that includes a driver for driving a U-shaped staple, and a main magazine for housing a plurality of staples that extends from the tool main body. The driving tool also comprises a sub-magazine to which a pusher and a staple guide are attachable. The pusher pushes the staples in the main magazine toward the tool main body. The staple guide is inserted between a pair of legs of the staple in the main magazine. The driving tool also comprises a guide mechanism for guiding the sub-magazine toward the tool main body from an opening position to a closing position with respect to the main magazine. The guide mechanism also guides the sub-magazine in a direction opposite to a driving direction while the sub-magazine moves from the opening position to the closing position.
Powered fastener driver
A powered staple driver includes a magazine configured to receive staples and a nosepiece having a staple driving channel from which consecutive staples from the magazine are driven, the staple driving channel extending along a driving axis. The magazine obliquely extends from the nosepiece in both a first plane containing the driving axis and a second plane that is perpendicular to the driving axis.
Feed Piston Pressure Tube
A pneumatic fastening device which uses compressed air from an internal reservoir to momentarily move a feed piston in a direction away from a drive channel when a trigger is actuated and a fastener is driven into a workpiece. The compressed air can flow from the reservoir to a return chamber by flowing through a passageway to pressurize the return chamber and move the feed piston away from the drive channel. The passageway can be a feed piston pressure tube which received compressed air from the reservoir, passes through one or more bulkheads that separate different chambers of the pneumatic fastening device and has an outlet in the return chamber.
Spring biased lever for opening a moveable member of an adapter for a flooring nail gun
An adapter for a flooring nail gun is provided with a muzzle member including at least one set of two inclined cavities; a moveable member including at least one set of two inclined protrusions at an end, the inclined protrusions being disposed in the inclined cavities; and a quick releasing device disposed on the inclined protrusions. The quick releasing device includes a pressing member, a spring member, and a lever, and wherein the pressing member and the muzzle member are joined, the lever and the pressing member are pivotably secured together, and the spring member has one end anchored at the pressing member and the other end pivotably secured to the lever. The moveable member can be opened for troubleshooting in case of malfunction.
POWERED FASTENER DRIVER
A fastener driver includes a magazine having a latch member and a pusher slidably coupled to the magazine. The pusher includes a body and a lever movably coupled to the body. The body is configured to contact one of the fasteners for biasing the fasteners toward a nosepiece. The lever includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end. A spring is configured to bias the first end of the lever away from the body of the pusher. The first end of the lever is configured to selectively engage the latch member when the pusher is moved toward a second end of the magazine for retaining the pusher in a rearward position. The second end of the lever is movable by a user for releasing the engagement between the first end of the lever and the latch member.
Nail driving tool, movable guide element, stationary guide element, kit, base for such kit, system, and retrofitting system
The present invention relates to a nail driving tool, in particular a compressed air nailer, with a main body (2), which comprises a running tube (3) for guiding a nail to be driven into a workpiece and a firing pin driving the nail, the running tube (3) extending between a front free end (4), where the nail exits as it is driven into a workpiece, and a drive-side rear end. The invention also relates to a movable guide element (17) and to a stationary guide element (42), which can be mounted selectively to the nail driving tool.
Hammer tacker
A hammer tacker comprises a housing, a staple holder, and a latch operatively connected to the staple holder. The latch comprises a pivotable press member that is movable about a pivot axis between a lock position and a release position. The pivotable press member is resiliently biased towards the lock position. An elongated body of the staple holder is biased towards a normal position and movable against such bias to a jam release position while the staple holder remains in the operative position. The elongated body has a rearward portion thereof extending in longitudinally overlapping relation with a rearward portion of the pivotable press member, such that pivotal movement of the pivotable press member towards the rearward portion of the elongated body causes the pivotable press member to be moved from the lock position to the release position.
