HIGH LOAD LIFTER FOR AUTOMATED STAPLER
An automated lift machine that feeds strips of staples into an automated stapling machine that can be used in a production line. The lift machine includes a lifter subassembly and a pusher subassembly, and a magazine for holding multiple strips of staples that are stacked on top of one another. A lift fork extends under of the legs of the second staple strip from the bottom, then lifts up all of the stacked staples in the magazine except for the bottom-most staple strip. After that occurs, the pusher forces the bottom-most staple strip from beneath the stacked staples in the magazine, then pushes that strip toward an exit position, into the feeder for the automated stapling machine. The pusher retracts and the lift fork gently lowers the stacked staples in the magazine until they bottom out, after which the lift fork retracts from the stack.
IRRIGATION STAPLE DEVICE AND RELATED METHODS
The present invention provides an irrigation staple insertion device and method for setting staples to secure flexible tubing to the ground. The device offers significant advancements toward the prevention of deformation of the tubing from driving the staples too far into the ground, and alleviates the need for an installer to bend down to install each staple. The staple insertion device may include a piston nested within an outer chamber, where the outer chamber includes a slot for holding an irrigation staple to be inserted into the ground over an irrigation tube. The piston may be structured and nested in the outer chamber such that it can only travel a pre-determined distance through the chamber that is equal to the length of the staple less the thickness of the irrigation tube.
STAPER LOCKOUT
A stapler includes a body; a handle coupled to the body, the handle movable between a rest position and an actuated position; a magazine configured to support a plurality of fasteners; a driver that successively drives each of the plurality of fasteners into a workpiece in response to the handle moving to the activated position; and an advancer that moves the plurality of fasteners towards the driver, wherein the advancer comprises an advancer body and a lock feature disposed at a leading end of the advancer body, and wherein the driver comprises a complementary lock feature that interfaces with the lock feature of the advancer when the plurality of fasteners is exhausted to lockout the stapler.
DRIVING MODULE WITH IMPROVED MAGAZINE
A driving module for driving fasteners into a workpiece, the fasteners being interconnected via a connection mechanism to form a fastener belt and being magazined and rolled up to form a fastener belt roll, wherein the driving module has a driving apparatus, wherein the driving module has a mounting portion for mounting the driving apparatus on a workpiece bridge, wherein the driving apparatus has a driving drive, which acts on the respective fasteners to be driven with a driving force by way of a driving ram that is displaceable in the driving direction, and wherein a magazine having at least one exit portion is connectable to the driving apparatus; and by way of the exit portion, the fastener belt can be routed out of the magazine, and wherein the magazine has at least one fastening portion for fastening the magazine or parts thereof to the driving apparatus, wherein the magazine has at least two belt roll holders, each for receiving at least one fastener belt roll.
STAPLE GUN SYSTEM
A staple gun system designed for efficiency in use, whereby a large number of staples are available to be dispensed from a cartridge mounted above the staple assembly during a single duration.
Fastener-stick dispensers for field use
A fastener-stick dispenser for dispensing sticks of fasteners, such as staples, nails, and screws. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a body defining a fastener-stick receptacle that receives a plurality of the fastener sticks. The dispenser also includes a dispensing port through which fastener sticks are dispensed one or more at a time by a user. The dispenser may also include one or more securing device for securing the dispenser to a user so that the user can carry the dispenser in a hands-free manner. A method of providing a fastener-stick dispenser is also disclosed. The method includes providing a fastener stick dispenser and providing various instructions for its use. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a pivotable dispensing mechanism designed, configured, and arranged to dispense fastener sticks in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the fastener sticks. The dispensing mechanism may be actuated using a lever arm.
