Washer and combination washer and fastener system for building construction
A washer and fastener combination for use in building construction includes a fastener having a cylindrical shaft, with a threaded end defining one end and a head defining another end, and includes a plastic washer. The washer includes a bottom side and an upper side defining a solid outer surface, and an aperture extending through the washer. A cavity is formed in the upper side at the aperture that defines an opening in the upper side, with the opening defined by the cavity being larger than an opening defined by the aperture whereby the cavity includes a seat that is disposed about the aperture and is recessed from the upper side. The fastener further includes one of either a flange or a secondary washer at the head, with the shaft of the fastener configured for insertion into the aperture with the flange or secondary washer recessed within the cavity.
Birds beak elastomer fastener magazine feeder
A fastener driving tool magazine and nose piece for use with a fastener with a preinstalled elastomer beneath the head of the fastener. A magazine structure for avoiding damage to the elastomer is taught and a birds beak fastener guide is taught for installing the fastener while still avoiding damage to the elastomer.
CAP FEEDING DEVICE AND CAP NAILER HAVING THE SAME
A cap feeding device is for a nap nailer that includes a machine body, a muzzle, a nail feeding device, a nail striking device, and an electronic control device. The cap feeding device includes a cartridge, a cap rail, a cap solenoid valve, and a cap pushing member. The cartridge is adapted for accommodating a plurality of caps. The cap rail is connected to the cartridge, and extends toward the muzzle. The cap solenoid valve is mounted to the cap rail, and includes a valve rod that is drivable by an electromagnetic force to move. The cap pushing member is swingably connected to the valve rod, and is urged by the valve rod to move relative to the muzzle between a first position, in which the cap pushing member is adjacent to the muzzle, and a second position, in which the cap pushing member is distal from the muzzle.
Washer and combination washer and fastener system for building construction
A washer for use in building construction having an outer side having an upper surface defined by an upper wall, an underside opposite the outer side, and a perimeter. A central aperture extends from the outer side to the underside, with an alignment surface extending inwardly and downwardly relative to the central aperture with the alignment surface configured to be contacted by a nose stem of a fastener gun. A central chamfer is disposed at the central aperture and is configured to mate with the head of a fastener driven by the fastener gun. The upper surface of the outer side comprises a conical portion extending from the perimeter, with the alignment surface extending inwardly and downwardly to the central chamfer.
DECK CLIP MAGAZINE
A deck clip magazine for use with a pneumatic fastener gun and a plurality of generally T-shaped deck clips attached to one another by webbing to form a clip belt. The deck clip magazine has a housing with a channel shaped to receive the clip belt and a front end with an opening to permit egress of the leading clip from the channel. An aperture on the housing is aligned with the barrel of the pneumatic fastener gun and permits fasteners to pass therethrough to secure the generally T-shaped clips in position. The clips are aligned below the aperture by way of an inwardly biased movable stop located adjacent the opening. A cutting mechanism is aligned with the webbing and selectively actuated to sever the webbing between adjacent clips in the clip belt.
Magazine Assembly for Accommodating of Nail Clips
A magazine assembly for accommodating of nail clips is used in combination with a nail gun, and includes: a magazine, a nail pushing assembly, and a muzzle. With the inserting portions of the nail clips and the nails received in the nail holding groove, the clipping portions of the nail clips received in the sliding groove, and the restricting protrusion received in the retaining space of the nail clips, the nail clips can be held firmly in the magazine. Besides, the punching groove and the nail feeding hole of the muzzle are in communication with the magazine to allow the nail clips to be pushed into the punching groove where the nail clips can be fired. Hence, the magazine assembly is not only capable of accommodating but also firing the nail clips.
Device for applying fastening means
A device for applying fasteners having one almost flat head having a central pass through hole, two opposed sides having protrusions approximately perpendicular to the head forming shoulders, has a first nail magazine for locking a fastener. A shooting device shoots a nail through the fastener central hole. A second magazine has a slide guide housing a set of fasteners, with tongues oriented in a forward sliding direction, the shoulders oriented towards an outlet. The outlet has jaws hinged to rotation pins, perpendicular to the sliding direction. Front portions of the jaws fully protrude from the second magazine, each jaw having teeth having a shoulder shape to match a shoulder shape of a fastener interposed between the jaws. The teeth elastically and detachably hold the fasteners in an aligned position with the pass through hole and with the shooting direction of the shooting device.
MAGAZINE FOR A NAILING DEVICE, SUCH AS A PORTABLE NAILER AND NAILING DEVICE THEREFOR
A secondary magazine for a nailing device, such as a portable nailer, adapted to be connected to a main magazine of nails. More particularly, a main housing of the main magazine and a secondary housing of the secondary magazine respectively have a first longitudinal axis of symmetry and a second longitudinal axis of symmetry, transverse such as substantially perpendicular to each other; each magazine configured to house at least one nail of axis of symmetry; the nails of the main magazine being arranged in rows stacked along the first longitudinal axis of symmetry which is also transverse such as substantially perpendicular to the axis of the nail; the nails of the secondary magazine being arranged in rows stacked along the second axis of longitudinal symmetry.
FASTENER CAP DRIVING TOOL WITH SELF-REVERSING LEAD SCREW CAP FEEDER
A fastener cap driving tool with a pressurized gas storage chamber that uses that pressurized gas as a gas spring to quickly force a piston and a driver into contact with a fastener. The pressurized gas is not vented to atmosphere, but is instead reused, and a motor powers a lifter to return the piston and the driver for the next driving stroke. The tool has a fastener magazine, and a separate cap magazine which includes an additional motor that powers a self-reversing lead screw. The lead screw acts as a feed pawl, and advances a collated strip of caps from the cap magazine towards an exit end of the tool. During a driving stroke, one fastener is driven through one cap, securing both to a workpiece.
