Forward-reverse valve and pneumatic tool having same
In a pneumatic-powered tool, a flow of air along a first or second flow path may be controlled by a position of air inlet guide surfaces of a rotatable valve relative to air inlet guide slots of a fixed valve sleeve. Air flowing along the first flow path may rotate a motor in a first direction to operate the tool in a forward mode. Air flowing along the second flow path may rotate the motor in the second direction to operate the tool in a reverse mode. In the forward mode, as air flows along the first flow path, air may be discharged along a primary discharge path, with a portion of the second flow path providing a secondary discharge path. In the reverse mode, as air flows along the second flow path, air may be discharged along the primary discharge path, with a portion of the first flow path providing the secondary discharge path.

PNEUMATIC ROOFING MATERIAL REMOVAL TOOL
A pneumatic roofing material removal tool includes a single-acting pneumatic cylinder with a heavy piston for driving a blade under roofing materials and fasteners to detach them from a roof. The blade is connected to a driver having a blade end and an anvil end. Impacts upon the driver are transmitted to the blade, the driver and the blade being in rigidly fixed relationship. The single-acting pneumatic cylinder applies a forceful impact to the anvil end of the driver sufficient to move the driver and the attached blade under the roofing materials, and towards at least one fastener. Also included is a frame that slidably supports the driver and handle assembly, the frame also fixedly supporting the single-acting pneumatic cylinder. The roofing material removal tool increases the speed, ease, and efficiency of removing old roofing materials from a roof, and increases safety, while reducing physical labor and risk of injury.
Systems for modulating pressure wave therapy
A processor-controlled, energy-based therapy apparatus includes a pressure wave therapy device configured to provide therapeutic acoustic pulses to a patient and a processor that controls the output of the device. The pressure wave therapy device may include a control unit configured to control the pressure wave therapy device to deliver a treatment program, the treatment program comprising a plurality of acoustic pulses, each acoustic pulse comprising a pressure, the control unit including a memory storing patient-specific treatment information relating to a pain threshold of the patient; and a pain threshold indicator coupled to the control unit, the pain threshold indicator operable by the patient to provide an indication to the control unit of when a patient's pain threshold has been reached because an energy level delivered to the patient is unbearable.

Pneumatic Tool with Shock Absorber
The present disclosure provides a pneumatic tool with shock absorber. The pneumatic tool has a main body which is adapted for an air supply to be connected thereto. With the air supply, a striker disposed in the main body reciprocates to generate impulse and vibration. A damper, including an elastic member and an airtight compartment, is disposed at the rear end of the reciprocation path of the striker. Therefore, the elastic member and the airtight compartment can absorb the shock produced backwardly by the striker. The vibration and the noise can be reduced for avoiding occupational injury caused thereby.
Pneumatic drill hammer comprising a boost chamber and a drilling rig comprising such a drill hammer
The invention relates to a pneumatically operated drill hammer, comprising a piston and a distributor axially arranged relative to each other in a housing, the piston being arranged to be moved axially between a first position and a second position. The drill hammer further includes a pneumatic drive system, including a drive chamber, a return chamber and a plurality of channels for distribution of drive gas in said drive system. The return chamber is arranged at a lower side of the piston and the drive chamber is arranged at an upper side of the piston, wherein the drive chamber is defined by a variable space enclosed by at least the housing, the piston and the distributor. The drive chamber includes at least one inlet port and at least one exhaust port arranged at a circumference of the drive chamber.
