Power tool

A power tool includes a motor, a housing, a battery mounting part, and a battery protection part. The battery mounting part is provided to the housing on an opposite side from a working axis across the motor in an extending direction of a rotation axis of the motor. The battery mounting part is configured such that one end portion of at least one battery is mounted to the battery mounting part and an opposite end portion of the at least one battery in the extending direction of the rotation axis is exposed from the housing. The battery protection part is provided to an outer surface portion of the housing and configured to protect at least one corner region of the opposite end portion of the at least one battery against external force when the one end portion is mounted to the battery mounting part.

Passive vibration reducing apparatus

In an aspect of the disclosure there is provided a vibration reducing apparatus for a percussive tool having an axis of reciprocation. The apparatus comprises, a guide frame and at least one member extending across the axis of reciprocation. An assembly extending in a direction of along the axis of reciprocation comprises at least two layers and each layer comprises four interconnected elongate members pivotally attached and rotatable with respect to each other to define a polygon; and the assembly has at least one biasing means. A handle is movably coupled to the guide frame and supported on the assembly. The apparatus provides decreasing stiffness with increasing compression of the assembly under an applied load to the handle for reducing vibration in a predetermined frequency range.

An air-filled cavity (30) is provided inside the block (27) between the tool surface (25) and the handle surface (24).

Impact tool

An impact tool includes a mechanism part, a main-body housing and a grip housing. The mechanism part strikes a tool bit. The main-body housing holds the mechanism part therein. The grip housing is continuously provided to a rear portion of the main-body housing. One end portion of the grip housing is displaceably connected to the main-body housing through an elastic member, and the other end portion of the grip housing is rotatably connected to the main-body housing through a rotary joint. A center of the rotary joint is disposed on a leading end side of the impact tool with respect to a center of the elastic member, when viewed in a strike direction of the impact tool.

The second motor includes a stator and a rotor being capable of rotating relative to the stator about a first axis substantially perpendicular to the front and rear direction. The dust collecting housing is formed with a first containing chamber for containing the fan and a second containing chamber for containing dust absorbed by the dust collecting device.

Power-actuated tool

An electric power tool has a brushless motor for driving a tip tool, and a motor case is at least partly covered by a motor housing made of aluminum alloy and exposed to an outside. A control board provided with a control circuit for controlling the rotation of the brushless motor is disposed adjacent to the motor housing. The brushless motor and a control board are cooled by cooling air generated by a fun, thereby enhancing the cooling characteristics of the motor control circuit.

A drill apparatus including an inner tube, an outer tube slidably received within the outer tube, and a pole extension mechanism. The pole extension mechanism comprises a pole advance gear having pole advance gear teeth, and a drive gear having drive gear teeth, the drive gear being coaxial with and fixedly attached to the pole advance gear so that the two gears rotate together. The pole advance gear teeth are received in aligned spaced apart apertures in the outer tube. The pole extension mechanism further includes a lever arm having an end pivotally mounted on the support collar at a lever arm pivot point coaxial with the drive gear and the pole advance gear. The pole extension mechanism further includes a stop pawl pivotally mounted on the support collar for rotation between where the stop pawl engages the drive gear and prevents downward movement of the pole inner tube relative to the pole outer tube, and where the stop pawl does not engage the drive gear, and a drive pawl piece pivotally mounted on the lever arm near the lever arm end.

An upper end portion of the handle is connected to a rear end portion of the body housing via an elastic member so as to be movable relative to the body housing. A lower end portion of the handle is connected to the rear end portion of the body housing so as to be rotatable relative to the body housing, around a rotation axis extending in a left-right direction. The rotation axis is located on a lower side of the battery-mounting part.

IMPACT TOOL

An impact tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing, a battery-mounting part, a first detection part and a control part. The driving mechanism is configured to linearly drive a tool accessory along a driving axis by power of the motor, the driving axis extending in a front-rear direction of the impact tool. The body housing houses the motor and the driving mechanism. The battery-mounting part is configured to removably receive a battery. The first detection part is configured to detect a rearward push of the tool accessory relative to the body housing. The control part is configured to start driving of the motor in response to detection of the rearward push of the tool accessory by the first detection part.
