A method for installing an anchor having: making a hole into the material in which the anchor is to be installed, by using a hammer drill; after associating an anchor driver with the chuck of the hammer drill, using the so created anchor driver-hammer drill first assembly, with the hammer drill in hammer mode, to hammer the anchor into the hole; and, after switching the hammer drill to drill mode, tightening the nut or bolt of the anchor using the anchor driver-hammer drill first assembly, or a second assembly comprising the hammer drill and a socket.

Impact mechanism device

An impact mechanism device for a hand power tool comprises at least one impact mechanism including at least one driven cylinder and at least one piston driven in an axial direction by the at least one driven cylinder via a cam mechanism, and at least one planetary gearing configured to drive the at least one driven cylinder and the at least one piston. The at least one piston is positioned at least partially inside the at least one driven cylinder.

Driving work machine

A workability of a driving work machine is improved by reduction in vibration transmitted to a housing. A driving work machine 10 includes: a cylinder 21 applying a rotational force to a tip tool; a piston 33 applying a striking force to the tip tool; a driving source generating a power; a switching part 61 making switching between at least two operational states including a rotational striking state of transmitting the power as a striking force and a rotational force to the tip tool and a rotational state of transmitting the power as the rotational force but not transmitting the power as the striking force to the tip tool; and a housing 12. The cylinder 21 includes a pushing part 46 pushing the switching part 61 rearward, the switching part 61 is able to switch an operational state of the cylinder 21 by the rearward movement caused by the pushing force of the pushing part 46, and a rubber annular member 72 serving as an anti-vibration part is arranged between the pushing part 46 and the preventing part 71.

ADAPTER FOR POWER TOOL DEVICES

An adapter for a power tool including a housing, a tool-side connector, and a battery-side connector in electrical communication with each other. The tool-side connector is configured to couple to a power tool, and the battery-side connector is configured to couple to a battery pack. The adapter also includes a communication interface configured to couple with an external device, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine a state of the power tool, operate in a data transmission mode when the power tool is in the idle state, operate in a pass-through mode when the power tool is in the active state, and switch between the data transmission mode and the pass-through mode based on the state of the power tool.

APPARATUS FOR USE WITH A POWER TOOL AND METHOD

An apparatus includes an upper half, a lower half coupled to the upper half and a securing mechanism. The apparatus attaches to a bottom of a cordless drill to provide quick and easy access to drill bits enabling users to keep their drill bits close at hand when working. The apparatus prevents individuals from wasting time trying to locate drill bits and eliminates the need to ask other individuals for assistance in locating the correct drill bit.

Electric power tool with vibration mechanism

An electric power tool includes a housing, a motor, a deceleration mechanism, a final output shaft, a vibration mechanism, a vibration switching member, a stop member, and an expansion prevention portion. The vibration mechanism provides a vibration in an axial direction to the final output shaft. The vibration switching member is accommodated in a slit axially disposed on a front end of a tubular portion and moved back and forth in the slit by an operation from outside to switch on and off actuation of the vibration mechanism. The stop member is installed on the front end of the tubular portion to cover the slit. The expansion prevention portion is disposed on the stop member and is brought in contact with an outer periphery of the front end of the tubular portion to prevent the front end of the tubular portion from expanding,

Handheld tool apparatus

A handheld tool apparatus comprising a spindle blocking apparatus and a torque limiting unit that includes at least one limiting spring and a stop arrangement that is supported movably against the limiting spring. It is provided that the stop arrangement of the torque limiting unit nonrotatably secure a wedging arrangement of the spindle blocking apparatus.

Rotary hammer

A rotary hammer includes a motor, a spindle coupled to the motor for receiving torque from the motor, a piston at least partially received within the spindle for reciprocation therein, a striker received within the spindle for reciprocation in response to reciprocation of the piston, and an anvil received within the spindle and positioned between the striker and a tool bit. The anvil imparts axial impacts to the tool bit in response to reciprocation of the striker. The rotary hammer also includes a synchronizing assembly operable in a first configuration in which the motor is drivably coupled to the piston for reciprocating the piston, and a second configuration in which the piston is decoupled from the motor. The rotary hammer further includes an actuator operable for switching the synchronizing assembly from the second configuration to the first configuration in response to depressing the tool bit against a workpiece.

HAMMER DRILL AND SET TOOL DEVICE
