Hammer work tool having multi-position retention collar
A work tool for a hammer is disclosed. The work tool may include a first terminal end having a planar surface, and a second terminal end opposite the first terminal end and including a tool tip. The work tool may further include a shank between the first and second terminal ends and including a proximal first shank portion and a distal second shank portion coaxially aligned. The work tool may further include a collar between the first and second shank portions. The collar may include a rectangular portion forming lateral sides of the collar, each of the lateral sides including a planar surface that extends in a direction along an axis of the work tool. The collar may further include a flange having a diameter greater than a diameter of the shank and greater than a length of a lateral side of the rectangular portion.
TOOL BIT TO BE USED WITH PNEUMATIC AIR HAMMER
A tool bit to be installed on a pneumatic air hammer, the tool bit including a rod, a handle disposed on a predetermined portion of the rod, an insertion portion disposed at a first end of the rod to be fit into an attachment portion of the pneumatic air hammer, and a tip disposed at a second end of the rod.
Low-noise hydraulic hammer
The present invention relates to a hydraulic hammer, and more specifically, to a low-noise hydraulic hammer, wherein an impact bar that is accommodated inside of a piston is inclined so as not to contact the inside of the piston thereby preventing cracks, and a noise insulating material or a heat sink is installed inside the piston or outside the impact bar, thereby reducing noise and improving heat radiation performance.
Concrete anchor driver tool
The disclosed concrete anchor driver tool is coupled to a rotary hammer drill to install a concrete anchor. The tool includes a rod having multi-faceted bolt head end, such as a hexagonal bolt head end, and a socket having a multi-faceted opening in the socket end of the socket. The socket is slipped over the rod and held against the bolt head end of the rod by a compressible spring. The concrete anchor driver tool is operated by coupling the concrete anchor driver tool to a rotary hammer drill, slipping the socket over the concrete anchor, and operating the drill in the hammer mode to hammer the concrete anchor bolt into the concrete. The rotary hammer drill is then put in rotate mode and used to rotate the concrete anchor driver tool rod, which rotates the socket, which, in turn, tightens the nut on the concrete anchor.
HAMMER DRILL ADAPTORS AND METHODS OF USE
A hammer drill adapter for driving a drive cleat to join opposed ends of a duct comprising: a first portion generally aligned in a plane; a shaft portion having an elongate axis generally parallel to said plane; the first portion fixed to the shaft portion; an entry surface at a distal end of the first portion; a capture cavity extending through the entry surface; the capture cavity defined proximally by a rear surface and by an opposed lower and upper capture surfaces; the capture cavity also laterally defined by an opposed first capture surface and a second capture surface; the capture cavity sized to house a trailing end portion of a drive cleat; and wherein the shaft portion comprises a connection portion at a proximal end of said shaft portion for fixation within a hammer drill chuck. Also disclosed are methods for use to advance a drive cleat.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LIMITING EQUIPMENT BURDEN WHEN PENETRATING A MIXED OR COMPOSITE MATERIAL STRUCTURE INCLUDING METAL UTILIZING A HAMMER-DRILL
A method employing an apparatus in conjunction with a hammer-drill to penetrate composite metal and non-metal structure or structures including, for example, thick metal or rebar encountered during concrete, rock or masonry boring operations without requiring a change in drill equipment.
Quick change pneumatic hammer
A pneumatic hammer extender arm assembly is provided comprising an elongated extender arm body defining a hammer engaging portion formed at a first end of the body, and a hammerhead engaging portion formed at a second end of the body. A hammerhead is detachably engageable to the hammerhead engaging portion to allow for quick change of the hammerhead without the need for any tools. The hammerhead may alternately be implemented to engage and apply an impact force to a fastener that may be axially offset from the extender arm body.
