PERCUSSION TOOL
A percussion tool comprises a housing and an electric motor positioned within the housing. The percussion tool further comprises a battery pack supported by the housing for providing power to the motor. The battery pack includes a plurality of battery cells having a nominal voltage of up to 120 Volts. The percussion tool further comprises a percussion mechanism driven by the motor and including a striker supported for reciprocation in the housing. The percussion tool has a ratio of impact energy to mass that is greater than or equal to 2.5 Joules/kilogram.

Reciprocating tool
A reciprocating tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing, a movable part, and a vibration control mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a reciprocating member configured to reciprocate in a first direction. The movable part is connected to the body housing via a first elastic member and a second elastic member to be relatively movable in the first direction. The vibration control mechanism includes at least one weight configured to move in a direction opposite to the reciprocating member. The center of gravity of the at least one weight is offset from the driving axis in a second direction. In the second direction, the first elastic member is closer to the center of gravity than the second elastic member. A load of the first elastic member when the movable part is placed in a closer position is smaller than a load of the second elastic member.
RECIPROCATING TOOL
A reciprocating tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing, a movable part, and a vibration control mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a reciprocating member configured to reciprocate in a first direction. The movable part is connected to the body housing via a first elastic member and a second elastic member to be relatively movable in the first direction. The vibration control mechanism includes at least one weight configured to move in a direction opposite to the reciprocating member. The center of gravity of the at least one weight is offset from the driving axis in a second direction. In the second direction, the first elastic member is closer to the center of gravity than the second elastic member. A load of the first elastic member when the movable part is placed in a closer position is smaller than a load of the second elastic member.
NON-CONTACT SPEED SELECTOR SWTICH IN ROTARY POWER TOOL
A rotary power tool includes a housing having a motor housing portion and a handle portion extending therefrom. An electric motor is positioned within the motor housing portion. The rotary power tool further includes a trigger switch configured to activate and deactivate the motor. The rotary power tool further includes a non-contact speed selector switch that is separate from the trigger switch and configured to adjust a rotational speed of the motor. The non-contact speed selector switch is positioned in a foot of the handle portion opposite the motor housing portion.
Electric power tool configured to detect twisted motion
An electric power tool is configured to rotate an attachment about a Z-axis. The electric power tool includes a three-axes acceleration sensor and an acceleration detection circuit. The acceleration detection circuit calculates an angular acceleration about the Z-axis based on an input signal from the three-axes acceleration sensor. The acceleration detection circuit calculates a change in an angular velocity based on integrating the angular acceleration for a most recent period. The acceleration detection circuit determines a Z-axis angular velocity about the Z-axis, without adding a previous change in the angular velocity from before the most recent period, as equal to the change in angular velocity. The acceleration detection circuit detects a twisted-motion of the electric power tool based on the Z-axis angular velocity.
Percussion tool
A percussion tool comprises a housing and an electric motor positioned within the housing. The motor has a nominal outer diameter of up to about 80 mm and is operable to output at least about 2760 W. The percussion tool further comprises a battery pack supported by the housing for providing power to the motor. The battery pack includes a plurality of battery cells having a nominal voltage of up to 80 Volts and a sustained operating discharge current of between about 40 A and about 60 A. The percussion tool further comprises a percussion mechanism driven by the motor and including a striker supported for reciprocation in the housing. The percussion tool has a ratio of impact energy to mass that is greater than or equal to 2.5 Joules/kilogram.
HANDHELD MACHINE TOOL HAVING A GEARBOX FLANGE
In a handheld machine tool having a tool holder and a housing in which at least one gear unit as well as an electronically commutatable drive motor having a stator and a rotor for driving an insertion tool able to be placed in the tool holder are situated, a drive-side gearbox flange, which at least regionally seals the gear unit, is allocated to the gear unit. The drive-side gearbox flange has, on its end face facing the stator, an accommodation region for the at least regional accommodation of at least one motor component allocated to the stator.
POWER TOOL INCLUDING VIBRATION ISOLATOR
A power tool including a vibration isolator can be downsized in a relative movement direction and reduce damage to wiring. A hammer drill includes a front housing including an output unit and a motor, a rear housing separate from the front housing and including a switch to be movable relative to the front housing in a front-rear direction, a vibration isolator located between the front housing and the rear housing and including a coil spring, a lead wire electrically connecting the motor and the switch, and a lead wire holder holding a middle portion of the lead wire in a lateral direction.
Impact tools and control modes
An impact power tool includes a housing, a motor, a controller, an output member configured to be rotated when the motor is energized, and an impact mechanism configured to rotationally drive the output member. The impact mechanism is configured to selectively apply rotational impacts to the output member when a torque on the output member exceeds a torque threshold. The controller is configured to control the motor during a first phase of operation with open loop control and a baseline conduction band and advance angle setting when a sensed tool operation parameter is one of above or below a threshold value. The controller is configured to control the motor during a second phase of operation with closed speed loop control and an increased conduction band and advance angle setting when the sensed tool operation parameter is the other of above or below the threshold value.
