A work tool includes a motor, a driving mechanism, a body housing and a handle. The driving mechanism is configured to perform an operation of linearly reciprocating the tool accessory along a driving axis extending in a front-rear direction. The handle includes a grip part extending substantially in an up-down direction, and a battery-mounting part provided on a lower side of the grip part. An upper end portion of the handle is connected to a rear end portion of the body housing via an elastic member so as to be movable relative to the body housing. A lower end portion of the handle is connected to the rear end portion of the body housing so as to be rotatable relative to the body housing, around a rotation axis extending in a left-right direction. The rotation axis is located on a lower side of the battery-mounting part.

Non-contact speed selector switch in rotary power tool

A rotary power tool includes a housing having a motor housing portion and a handle portion extending therefrom. An electric motor is positioned within the motor housing portion. The rotary power tool further includes a trigger switch configured to activate and deactivate the motor. The rotary power tool further includes a non-contact speed selector switch positioned in the housing. The non-contact speed selector switch is configured to adjust a rotational speed of the motor. The non-contact speed selector switch is separate from the trigger switch.

Method for the open-loop and closed-loop control of a power tool, having a drive, a control device, a sensor device, a transmission device and a handle apparatus, wherein the handle apparatus contains a lever element with a signal transmitter, the lever element being pivotable relative to the sensor device. The method involves the method steps of: sensing a first and second position of the signal transmitter; determining a distance covered from the first position to the second position; and setting the drive from a deactivation mode into an activation mode when the distance reaches a first threshold value. A handle apparatus on a power tool is also provided.

Pneumatic Tool with Shock Absorber

The present disclosure provides a pneumatic tool with shock absorber. The pneumatic tool has a main body which is adapted for an air supply to be connected thereto. With the air supply, a striker disposed in the main body reciprocates to generate impulse and vibration. A damper, including an elastic member and an airtight compartment, is disposed at the rear end of the reciprocation path of the striker. Therefore, the elastic member and the airtight compartment can absorb the shock produced backwardly by the striker. The vibration and the noise can be reduced for avoiding occupational injury caused thereby.
