DUST COLLECTOR WITH FILTER CLEANING MECHANISM

A dust collector for use with a power tool comprises a housing, a telescoping suction pipe coupled to the housing, a suction fan positioned in the housing and operable to generate a vacuum in the suction pipe, a dust container coupled to the housing and positioned upstream of the fan, a filter at least partially arranged in the dust container, and a filter cleaning mechanism. The filter cleaning mechanism includes an anvil, a striker moveable between a first striker position, in which the striker is spaced from the anvil, and a second striker position, in which the striker is in contact with the anvil. The filter cleaning mechanism further includes an actuator moveable between a first actuator position and a second actuator position, in which the actuator is moved closer to the anvil than in the first position, and a first spring biasing the striker toward the anvil.

Multi-tool system

A multi-tool system includes a multi-tool sleeve assembly including a storage sleeve and an end cap to be inserted into an open end of the storage sleeve, with one of a bit driver multi-tool or a chain break multi-tool to be stored in the storage sleeve of the multi-tool sleeve assembly.

Installation tool and fastener for roof truss framing and construction system

An installation tool and fastener is particularly adapted for fastening a top plate to a roof support member and other structural connections. The installation tool comprises a telescopic tool assembly which transfers torque from a power driver tool to a fastener drive coupler. The installation tool has a receiver guide which is configured to concentrically guide a fastener into driver engagement with a fastener coupler. The coupler may have a driver tip with radial projections, a Philips driver tip or a square driver tip. In one embodiment, the installation tool fastener has a head with a maximum head diameter equal to the major thread diameter and a recess for coupling with the drive coupler.

Multi-bit screwdriver

A screwdriver stores in a storage device multiple bits readily selectable for retrieval and use. The storage device includes at least one cartridge defining a cavity for receiving at least one bit. A receiver defines at least one cell for receiving the at least one cartridge, and a passageway extends longitudinally along the center of the receiver to an opening defined in an external surface of the receiver. Springs are employed for biasing the at least one cartridge in a first position in the at least one cell wherein the cavity is not aligned with the passageway, or in a second position in the at least one cell wherein the cavity is aligned with the passageway.

Jigsaw blade storage

A power tool including a housing with two housing halves joined together at a joining line. A motor housed in the housing. A blade holder which is driven by the motor and is configured to hold a blade so as to cut an object with the blade. A blade storage compartment configured to hold the blade when the blade is not in use for cutting. The blade storage compartment is formed by the two housing halves.

POWER TOOL

A power tool is arranged to operate in at least a first operating mode and a second operating mode. The power tool is operative to provide a first type of light signal from a light emitting device arranged to light up an object to be processed when the power tool is set in the first operating mode and to provide a second type of light signal when the power tool is set in the second operating mode.
