Hand-tool grips
A hand tool having hinged nipping or cutting blades and handles that are squeezed to effect the cutting or nipping action, at least one of the handles being profiled in cross section to accept and retain a slide-on cushion.
DRIVER TOOL AND METHOD OF USE
A driver tool for insertion and removal of a first part configured for threaded engagement in a corresponding threaded bore in a second part has a driving end portion of polygonal shape with multiple flats configured for engagement in a recess in the first part having a corresponding polygonal shape. Some or all of the flats have a respective grabbing feature or edge designed to grab or grip into the opposing surface of the recess to allow a greater amount of torque to be applied to the first part when the tool is rotated in the unthreading direction than when it is rotated in the opposite threading or insertion direction.
MANUFACTURING STEPS FOR HAND TOOL
Manufacturing steps for manufacturing a hand tool include a step of preparing a base part which has a handle end and a head end; a step of molding: placing the base part in a molding device and coating plastic to the whole base part by way of plastic injection molding to form the base part into a semi-product which has a handle portion and a head portion, an installation hole defined through the head portion; a step of coating: electro-coating a material to outer surface of the plastic of the semi-product, and a step of assembly: assembling a ratchet driving unit in the installation hole by using fixing members so as to obtain a final product.
RATCHET WRENCH
A ratchet wrench includes a ratchet wheel made of metal and having a ratchet teeth section and a driving section. A pawl made of metal engages with the ratchet teeth section and is controlled by a switch to control the rotation direction of the ratchet wheel. A plate made of metal includes a coupling portion to which the ratchet wheel is coupled. The coupling portion includes a first through-hole through which the ratchet wheel extends. The pawl presses against an inner periphery of the first through-hole. The inner periphery of the first through-hole has a length in an axial direction smaller than a thickness of the ratchet teeth section. A stopper made of plastic material is mounted around a peripheral edge of the coupling portion and includes second and third through-holes respectively located corresponding to the driving section of the ratchet wheel and the switch of the direction changing unit.
Pipe wrench
A wrench includes a body having a head and a handle portion defining a longitudinal axis. The wrench includes a first jaw coupled to the head with the first jaw including first teeth and an edge. The edge defines a width of the first jaw. The wrench includes a second jaw extending through an aperture of the head with the second jaw including a threaded portion and second teeth. The wrench includes an actuator coupled to the threaded portion of the second jaw such that rotation of the actuator relative to the second jaw moves the second teeth relative to the first teeth. A length is measured from the edge of the first jaw to the second end of the handle portion parallel to the longitudinal axis. A ratio of the width of the first jaw over the length is less than 0.06.
SCREWDRIVER
A screwdriver capable of driving screws with any shape of head comprises a fixing member and a main body. The main body comprises a first end and a second end, the fixing member fixes on the first end of the main body. The screwdriver further comprises a number of hard and small-diameter cores and a button. The cores are contained in the main body and are partially exposed out of the main body, the button is configured on the second end of the main body and resists against one end of the number of cores. The button drives a part of the number of cores to form a head to match a screw.
Adjustable Wrench
An adjustable wrench has a handle assembly and a gripping assembly. The handle assembly includes a rotating handle, a pivot shaft, and a holding handle. The pivot shaft is securely mounted in the rotating handle, and has a right-handed screw thread and a left-handed screw thread. The holding handle is mounted around the pivot shaft. The gripping assembly includes a base, a lower jaw, an upper jaw, and a guiding module. The lower jaw engages with the left-handed screw thread of the pivot shaft. The upper jaw engages with the right-handed screw thread of the pivot shaft. The guiding module is slidably mounted through the base and the lower jaw and is securely connected to the upper jaw. By turning the rotating handle as well as the pivot shaft, the upper jaw and the lower jaw can be quickly moved to a closed state or an open state.
Tool system
A tool system including a handle assembly, a swiveling butt end assembly, a ring assembly, and a tether is disclosed. When using tools at elevated heights there is often accidents involved in which tools drop and possibly injure pedestrians down below. The tool system prevents such events from occurring. The handle assembly importantly includes a swiveling butt end assembly with a ring assembly attached. The ring assembly receives the tether which is attached to a user and to a tool. The tether keeps the tools within reach of the use if there is an accidental dropping. With the swiveling butt end assembly the tether does not tangle or break. The swiveling butt end assembly allows for the handle to freely rotate while tied to the tether. This prohibits tension on the tether to prevent damage to the tether. Also, eliminating the chance of dropping the tool from an elevated height.
FLOATING HAND TOOL
The floating hand tool is configured to float in a body of water. The floating hand tool includes a handle made of a floatable material. The floating handle replaces the grip on ratchets, screw drivers, and any hand tool used in water with floatable grips. The handle includes a handle portion and a cap. The handle portion includes a protrusion. The cap includes a recess. The protrusion is configured to selectively interact with the recess, thereby coupling and sealing the handle portion to the cap.
TORQUE WRENCH WITH FORCE INDICATION
Provided is a torque wrench, or Mechanical Torque Limiting Device (MTLD), that is configured to accurately indicate the torque applied thereby on the object (or vice versa). The measurement of the torque is carried out by incorporating a pressure sensitive material in a gripping portion that is associated with the body of the torque wrench. The pressure sensitive material is configured to exhibit a signal upon application of force thereof. The signal can be an electric-based, color-based, motion-based (vibrations) or audio-based indication.
