A universal second handle for attachment to tool members including shovels, brooms, rakes, and pitchforks, that is easily placed on a handle thereof to increase flexibility and leverage for performing various operations by providing the ability to use the tool member with hands on two separate handles.

A rigid tube insert is positioned a short distance into the handle second end and extends a short distance outward from the handle second end. Adhesives, fasteners, internal hooks, or other commonly known methods of securing an object within an outer sheath or covering may be used to help secure the components together.
