Laser measuring system for motorcycle frame repair
A motorcycle frame rack enables a motorcycle frame to be repaired without removing many components from the motorcycle. A motorcycle is positioned on the motorcycle frame rack, secured in place and then the frame is adjusted using chains coupled to towers. A self-centering laser measuring system is able to be used to analyze and measure damage to the motorcycle frame.
MOTORCYCLE STAND
A motorcycle stand to lift and support a tyre of a motorcycle or motor scooter off the ground includes: a frame having first and second posts to extend along each side of a motorcycle wheel, and an interconnecting member extending transversely relative to the first and second posts; first and second motorcycle stand wheels coupled to ends of the first and second arms respectively and arranged for placement on opposite sides of the motorcycle and coaxial and aligned with the major axis parallel with the axes of the motorcycle wheels; a third motorcycle stand wheel mounted to the interconnecting member, and a self-engaging latching arrangement coupled with a respective frame engaging bracket, where at least one of each bracket and latching arrangement is supported on each of the first and second posts to engage mounting members provided on a frame or suspension members of the motorcycle or motor scooter.
ADJUSTABLE INTERIOR BICYCLE STAND
An adjustable interior bicycle stand for storing a bicycle in the interior of a vehicle during transportation. The adjustable interior bicycle stand comprises a base and vertical supports. The base further comprises a first set of holes and a second set of holes for housing the vertical supports. The vertical supports further comprise an anchor end and a support end. The anchor end of the vertical supports being seated in the combination of the first and second set of holes of the base. The support end of the vertical supports further comprises an adjustment means and a cradle. The vertical supports further comprising an elevating means for adjusting the location of the cradle in distal relation to the base.
MOTORCYCLE LIFT
A motorcycle lift that is configured to independently raise and/or lower the front end and rear end of a motorcycle that has been superposed the motorcycle lift. The motorcycle lift includes a frame having a central longitudinal support member having a first end and a second end. A lateral support member is movably secured to the first end of the central longitudinal support member. A first lifting mechanism and a second lifting mechanism are secured to the central longitudinal support member at opposing ends thereof. The central longitudinal support member includes a plurality of apertures on opposing sides thereof. The lateral support member is operably coupled to the central longitudinal support member with fasteners to the plurality of apertures and movable along a length thereof. The second lifting mechanism is movable along a length of the central longitudinal support member.
Motorcycle lift attachment
A lift attachment to be used on motorcycles is disclosed herein. The lift attachment includes floor jacks comprising a horizontal central cycle support section having a vertical member on each end which terminate in horizontal jack attachment members, where the device can be a single piece or composed of multiple pieces removably attached to one another. The lift attachment is then placed underneath a motorcycle. A jack lift is then mounted on the horizontal jack attachment members. The jack maybe a hydraulic jack or an automatic jack. A user may then actuate each of the jacks placed on the ends of the lift attachment. The lift attachment is then raised a predetermined height, thereby lifting the motorcycle a predetermined amount. The lift attachments raise a motorcycle the necessary height needed for working on a motorcycle.
IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO THE TRANSPORTATION OF BICYCLES
A protective case for a bicycle, which is an enclosed hollow rectangular cuboid including a top half; a lower half; wherein the top and lower halves releasably connect together to form the enclosed cuboid; and wherein each of the halves has: rigid outer wall sections for each surface of the cuboid so that the cuboid is fully enclosed; wherein at least the lower half has a stand attached thereto and the stand being adapted to connect to a bicycle frame of the bicycle and the case being adapted to support the bicycle when the stand is in, either: a non-extended position; and an extended position; wherein the stand is releasably attached to a mounting system; and the mounting system can hold the bicycle either in alignment or orthogonally to the longitudinal axis of the lower half.
Transportation
A protective case for a bicycle which is an enclosed hollow rectangular cuboid including a top half; a lower half; wherein said top and lower halves releasably connect together to form the enclosed cuboid; and wherein each of said halves has: rigid outer wall sections for each surface of the cuboid so that the cuboid is fully enclosed; wherein at least the lower half has a stand attached thereto and said stand being adapted to connect to a bicycle frame of the bicycle and said case being adapted to support said bicycle when the stand is in, either: a non-extended position; and an extended position.
