COLLAPSIBLE STAND
A collapsible stand mainly includes a support unit including two stand legs pivotally connected together in a crossed manner and a support arm set pivotally connected to one stand leg, a positioning unit including an abutment member and a bearing member respectively mounted at one stand leg and the support art set and so configured that when the collapsible is extended out or collapsed, the abutment member is engaged with a different part of the bearing member, and a control unit mounted at one stand leg and operable to bias the abutment member, moving the abutment member into engagement or away from the bearing member. Thus, the collapsible stand has a simple structure, facilitates operation and ensures a high level of operational safety and structural stability.
POWER TOOL ADAPTER FOR REMOTELY ACTUATING A POWER TOOL MOUNTED ON AN END OF A HOT STICK USING AN INSULATING PULL-ROPE
A remote adapter for use with a lineman's hot stick that enables the lineman to mount a wide variety of power tools onto the far end of the hot stick for tasks involving high voltage equipment. The remote adapter allows the power tool to be actuated by pulling on an insulating pull-rope. The remote adapter includes a body for supporting the power tool, the body including: at least one slot for receiving at least one strap configured to strap the power tool to the body, at least one pivot hole for receiving a pivot pin, and a splined universal connector for attachment to a hot stick. The remote adapter also includes a lever arm that is pivotable with respect to the body. The lever arm includes a hole for receiving a trigger pin which actuates the power tool trigger when the insulating rope attached to an attachment feature is pulled.
PORTABLE ADJUSTABLE WORK PLATFORM
A portable work platform includes a top surface, a stationary plate coupled to the top surface, a pivot plate rotatably coupled to the stationary plate, an upper peg insertable through the stationary plate and the pivot plate for securing the pivot plate at a defined angle, and a plurality of leg assemblies coupled to the pivot plate, wherein rotation of the pivot plate provides rotation to the leg assemblies between an open and a closed state.
AUTOMATED DEVICE FOR DRILLING A HOLE IN THE VAULT AND WALLS OF A TUNNEL AND FOR INSTALLING AN ANCHORING ELEMENT INTO SAID HOLE
The invention relates to an automated device for drilling a hole in the vault and walls of a tunnel and for installing an anchoring element in said hole, characterized in that it comprises: a robot (5) comprising a base (50), a robotic arm (51) extending from the base and a multifunctional head (52) arranged at the end of the arm and movable over 360 degrees, said multifunctional head comprising a drilling means (520), a percussion means (521) suitable for inserting an anchoring element in the hole, and a vision system (522), an elevating platform (1) bearing a device (2) for guiding in translation the base of the robot, a control unit suitable for communicating with a controller of the robot and comprising a processor configured to determine in real time the position of the robot in a three-dimensional reference frame of the tunnel and a man-machine interface.
Adjustable Support Prop
An adjustable support prop that can be customized to the support requirements of a wide variety of objects to be held in place. The prop includes first, second and third support members which are coupled together in a manner that allows the weight of an object to be supported in order to provide stability to the prop. The length of one of the support members is adjustable so that the height of the prop can be customized to the support requirements of the object to be supported.
Hand drill lifting and actuating apparatus
A hand drill lifting and actuating apparatus includes a post has a bottom end and a top end. The post is telescopic and includes an upper section and a lower section. A mount is attached to the top end and releasably secures a drill to the post. An actuator is mounted on the post and engages a switch on the drill to turn the drill on. A fulcrum is attached to the lower section of the post. A handle has a first end and a second end. The first end is pivotally coupled to the upper section. The handle is pivotally coupled to the fulcrum between the first and second ends such that the upper section is lifted upwardly when the second end is urged downwardly. The mount is thereby urged upwardly when the second end is pulled downwardly.
Locking intermediate link for a tool arm assembly
An intermediate link for a tool arm assembly is provided. The intermediate link includes first and second connectors that are at least partially rotatable about respective first and second rotation axes. The intermediate link includes first and/or second lock rotation mechanisms that are configured to selectively prevent rotation of the first and second connectors.
Tool holder
A tool holder comprises a cage assembly having a pair of axially spaced hollow members with axially aligned through openings sized for axial extension of tool handles of different sizes and shapes through both of the aligned openings. A cradle member is transversely movable in opposite directions between the hollow members toward and away from respective inwardly facing wall surfaces of the hollow members for releasably clamping tool handles extending through both aligned openings against the inwardly facing wall surfaces.
Overhead Drill and Anchor Press
The Overhead Drill and Anchor Press is a single mobile mechanism designed for installation of anchors into a construction surface which is overhead and out of reach of the installer. The overhead drill and anchor press is comprised of these major components: a compartmentalized cart on casters, a telescopic mast, a turret assembly, a controller, an air reservoir tank, a battery, a battery charger, and a DC power supply. The overhead drill and anchor press can execute the anchor installation sequence automatically or manually with a controller that may be hand held, or placed on the hand rail of the cart. The controller is equipped with a digital display of the turret mounted camera for monitoring the process from the ground. The entire assembly of the embodiment is designed to be manually pushed between target locations and sized to fit through standard framed door openings on a construction project.
DUST COLLECTION ASSEMBLY FOR USE WITH UNIVERSAL DRILL STAND
The present invention is a dust collection assembly for capturing dust, debris and residue that is created during the process of drilling holes into a concrete ceiling. The dust collection assembly is used with a universal drill stand and a drill saddle which has an electric drill secured to it. The drill saddle further comprises a telescoping vacuum tube having a ceiling contact portion that encircles the drill bit at the portion of the drill bit where the drill bit enters the ceiling. As the drill bit begins to penetrate the ceiling, silica dust is generated and removed via the vacuum tube, which tube is connected to a vacuum source.
