The locking mechanism (2) is installed on the tilting arm (12) and comprises: a locking clip (21) capable of being turned manually between an operative position for the locking of the chassis (1) wherein it is coupled with a number of locking rods (112, 113), and an unlocked position of the chassis (1); a manually displaceable trigger for the retaining of the locking clip in the operational position or the free position; and an elastic element that tends to displace the locking clip (21) and the trigger (22) towards the unlocked position of the chassis (1).

The kickstand disposed at the outfeed side of the stand body and has a folded position and an unfolded position in which the kickstand obliquely extends downwardly and away from the infeed side of the stand body. The kickstand can be unfolded and support the stand body at the outfeed side thereof during cutting a workpiece to prevent the wheeled stand from being tipped over.

Systems and methods for a table-mounted stand that houses a hand-held masonry cut-off saw. In some embodiments, the stand provides a fixed mount that keeps the saw stationary while the operator is allowed to feed the work piece through the saw with both hands. In some embodiments, the stand is configured to mount and un-mount the saw without the need for separate tools or time-consuming restraints. In some embodiments, the stand includes a throttle control that is activated via foot control, which allows for two-hand manipulation of the work piece being cut by the saw mounted on the stand. In some embodiments, the two-handed work-piece manipulation provided by the stand allows for precise curved and multi-angled cuts. In some embodiments, the stand is made of lightweight construction (e.g., aluminum) for ease of setup and mobilization.

A collapsible stand includes a carrying member, a first support frame unit and a second support frame unit respectively pivotally connected to the carrying member, a linking unit pivotally connected between the first and second support frame units for allowing the collapsible stand to be alternatively set between an extended position and a collapsed position, and a locking unit for locking the first and second support frame units to the carrying member selectively in the extended or collapsed position. The overall structure of the collapsible stand is simple and easy to operate. When set in the extended position, the first and second support frame units give a large area support to the carrying member, assuring high stability.

The tool can also slide within the secondary rotating element.
