Dust collection method and apparatus
An apparatus and method utilize a conventional portable shop vacuum to facilitate the collection of dust generated by a machine tool in a workshop. Selective translation of the machine tool along a workshop floor among chosen locations is enabled by virtue of casters provided by the shop vacuum. A selectively operated actuating mechanism renders the machine tool stationary at any one particular chosen location along the workshop floor.
Tool fixture for electrically-powered hand tools
A tool fixture can include a plate, a first bolt, a first aperture, and a pin actuator assembly. The first bolt can extend away from a top surface of the plate and have threads of a first thread configuration. The first aperture can be disposed on an opposite side of the plate relative to the first bolt and can extend through the plate and be at least partially threaded with threads of the first thread configuration. The pin actuator assembly can include a base and a pin. The base can extend away from the top surface and can be engaged with the plate for rotation. The pin can be mounted in the base for movement between a retracted position and an extended position. The base can be disposed on an opposite side of the plate relative to the first aperture.
Drilling and tapping machine
A drilling and tapping machine includes a power head assembly supported at a vertical orientation, a parallelogram arm structure including a head support and an arm base, and an arm positioning assembly coupled with the head support and the arm base support for guiding corresponding movements of the head support and the arm base support so as to ensure a vertical trajectory of the power head assembly. The machine further includes a counterweight configuration to vertically move the power head assembly via a lever. The machine further includes an operational control assembly to selectively shift the power head assembly between a drilling operation and tapping operation. Therefore, the machine is suitable to make a hole with a diameter of 0.5 to 3 mm.
Sawhorse
A sawhorse includes a body portion comprising an elongated portion, a first housing and a second housing. The first and second housings are connected to the elongated portion, with the second housing spaced from the first housing. First and second pairs of folding legs are pivotally attached to the first and second housing respectively, pivotable between open and folded positions. The first housing comprises a receiving region for receiving a distal end of the second pair of legs when in the folded position, the first receiving region comprising a first latch arranged to engage the second pair of legs, and the second housing comprises a second receiving region for receiving a distal end of the first pair of legs when in the folded position, the second receiving region comprising a second latch arranged to engage the first pair of legs.
Swivel assembly and disassembly apparatuses and methods
Swivel assembly and disassembly apparatuses for assembly and disassembly of a swivel include an apparatus base, a bearing collection basin carried by the apparatus base, a swivel head mount carried by the bearing collection basin, a swivel assembly/disassembly head carried by the swivel head mount and a swivel mounting mechanism carried by the swivel assembly/disassembly head.
Multi Function Tool Table
A tool table with top as a first rotating element that rotates relative to the top about its center. Within the rotating element is a secondary rotating element that rotates relative to the rotating element. A variety of tools affix or are used in used in connection with the second rotating element such that the tool can be installed above top of the table and then flipped to rotate such that the motor is below the top of the table but the blade or cutting element is above the top of the table. The tool can also slide within the secondary rotating element.
Universal drill stand
A universal drill stand for supporting a hand-held drill in an elevated and inverted position for drilling holes or inserting fasteners into a concrete ceiling or other overhead surface. The universal drill stand is extendable for use with varying ceiling heights. It eliminates the need for a worker to construct scaffolding or ascend a ladder or other elevating device to drill each hole, allowing the worker to remain safely on the floor and away from dust and debris associated with the drilling.
STACKABLE CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT
A support comprising a hollow, pyramid-shaped body having a top portion and a base, the body including a plurality of tapered walls which meet at corners, each of the plurality of walls including a notch formed in the top thereof; a plurality of posts projecting upwardly from the top of the body; and a receiving area defined by the posts, wherein the support creates a stable foundation and evenly distributes the weight of a load that applied to or placed within the receiving area. The support is conveniently stackable with other supports of the same configuration.
Foldable stand
A foldable stand includes two stand legs pivotally connected together. A positioning unit is set between the two stand legs and includes a first link pivotally connected to a second link, a locating plate mounted in the first link and a locking pin mounted in the second link. The foldable stand also includes a control unit having a first pedal mounted at the second link and pressable to move the first and second links toward each other into a folded position. In the folded position, the locking pin is forced into engagement with the locating plate. A second pedal is pivotally connected to the second link and pressable to pull the locking pin out of the locating plate for enabling the two stand legs to be biased from the folded position to an extended position.
Stand assembly for propane tanks
The present invention provides for a novel storage stand for propane torches and their hoses, which may be reversibly secured to a standard propane cylinder providing for improved storage of the propane torch.
