Stacking latch mechanism
The present invention relates to a latch mechanism configured to secure two bodies together by simply placing one body on top of the other and applying moderate downward pressure to the top body. The latch mechanism includes a housing and a latch partially disposed within the housing. The latch includes a main body, and a primary hook and an opposing secondary hook both extending from the main body. The latch is configured to be rotatable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the primary hook is not obscured by the housing. In the second position, the primary hook is substantially obscured by the housing. The latch mechanism also includes a bias configured to bias the latch toward its first position.
Slide tray for storage of modular toolboxes
A slide tray has a rectangular tray bottom having a left side, a right side, a front and a back. The rectangular tray bottom has a matrix of cutouts. This matrix of cutouts is configured such that slide tray may receive any one of several different modular toolboxes, regardless of the footprint of the modular toolbox. A plurality of slide trays may be attached between a left wall and a right wall, with each slide tray being attached to the left wall and right wall by telescoping slide rails.
Utility Assembly and Coupling Mechanism
The present disclosure concerns a coupling mechanism for detachably attaching two or more utility modules to one another, utility assembles, mobile carriers and other attachable modules and articles.
TOOL CONTAINER SYSTEM
A tool container system includes a first tool container and a second tool container. The first tool container has a first base, a first cover pivotably attached to the first base by a first hinge portion, a first base locking member coupled to the base, a first cover locking member coupled to the first cover, and a first latch coupled to the first base and moveable between a first unlocked position in which the first cover is movable relative to the first base between a closed position and an open position, and a first locked position in which the first latch engages the first cover locking member and the first cover is locked to the first base in the closed position. The second tool container is stackable on the first cover of the first tool container and having a second locking member. When the second tool container is stacked on the first tool container, the second tool container is lockable to the first tool container when the first latch is moved to the first locked position to engage both the first cover locking member and the second locking member.
Actuating Work Surface for Storage Device
The systems described in this disclosure can be used with a storage system to provide a platform for items and/or papers such as blueprints. A container includes a top panel that is pivotal relative to the container. The container may include additional panels that are pivotal with respect to the top panel and that rotate away from the top panel to extend the platform provided by the top panel.
MODULAR STORAGE SYSTEM WITH STORAGE BOX CONNECTIVITY AND EXTERNAL BOX FEATURES AND ACCESSORIES
A modular storage system of connectable, heavy-duty storage boxes, crates, rolling carts and/or dollies, work surfaces, organizers, trays, accessories is provided for internal and external item storage and organization and convenient access for use and transport, that is expandable, customizable and readily adaptable. Storage boxes have different sizes by length, width and/or height and have universal box-to-box connection system for stacking and connection to mounting accessories. Boxes have removable, customizable organization inserts (e.g., dividers, storage trays, bins, alignment trays for bins, and bins of different sizes). Box lid rib grid with bosses and undercuts expands internal organization, including cooperation with dual purpose dividers and accessories. Boxes have external mounting accessories to expand external organization. Different housing modes are provided including wall mount systems for wall or side of a truck or van, and different transport modes are provided (e.g., base box with wheels, or on a dolly or a cart).
Coupling Mechanism for a Modular System
A coupling mechanism for a utility system is provided, the coupling mechanism coupling an object with a modular system, such as a modular storage system. The coupling mechanism includes arms that extend from a projection. The arms are configured to engage under ribs within the modular system, such as the modular storage system.
Case For Accommodating Tools Or Small Parts
The invention relates to a case for holding tools or small parts, having a main body, having a lid, which is articulated in a pivotable manner on the main body, and having a holder for documents and/or small parts, which is fastened on an inner side of the lid, wherein the inner side of the lid is provided with a plurality of first fastening devices, which are designed to match second fastening devices on the holder, wherein the first and second fastening devices are designed, and arranged, such that the holder can be secured in at least two different positions on the inner side of the lid.
Utility Assembly and Coupling Mechanism
The present disclosure concerns a coupling mechanism for detachably attaching two or more utility modules to one another, utility assembles, mobile carriers and other attachable modules and articles.
TOOL PACK SYSTEM WITH REMOVABLE TOOL PANELS
A pack system adapted for carrying hand tools includes a tool-carrying container constructed to be worn on a user's person and having a bottom portion, a first shell portion, a second shell portion defining and enclosing a main storage compartment. A releasable closure is connected between the first and second shell portions. At least one tool panel is removably disposed within the main storage compartment and has one or more tool receivers each constructed to retain a hand tool. A panel-retaining structure between the tool panel(s) and the bottom portion of the pack releasably retains the tool panel(s) in the main storage compartment.
