Apparatus and method for lifting an elongated container
An elongated container has a convex shape with a bulge defining a center width of the elongated container. An apparatus and method for lifting the elongated container are described. The apparatus performs a pick operation from a front side of the elongated container. The pick operation includes approaching and gripping the elongated container from the front side. During the pick operation, an outer dimension of the apparatus in a direction perpendicular to an elongated direction defined by the elongated container is smaller than the center width of the elongated container.

The rotatable unit is coupled to the shaft, wherein the rotatable unit rotates with rotation of the shaft. The linear slider disposed on a first surface of the rotatable unit configured to slide from an initial position proximate to an outer edge of the rotatable unit to intermediate positions and to a final position proximate to a center of the rotatable unit. The gripper coupled to the linear slider to facilitate movement of the gripper along a first plane defined by the first surface of the rotatable unit.

A bioinspired suction device includes a radially symmetrical suction chamber formed from a first elastomer and having a skirt portion with a skirt diameter and a disc margin formed from a flexible flattened ring adhered to a lower surface of the skirt portion. The disc margin is formed from a second elastomer and has a disc diameter that extends beyond the skirt diameter. The second elastomer is a compliant material having a lower hardness and lower tensile strength than the first elastomer. Radial pads may extend from the disc margin, where each pad has elastomeric texture features formed on a pad contact surface.

A retention and movement unit of at least one component and at least one container is described. The unit has a moving retention member including, in turn, a frame and a first gripping device with a first retention element, the gripping device having a first configuration for selectively retaining the at least one component by the first retention element. In a first alternative, the first gripping device has a second configuration, different from the first configuration, for selectively retaining the at least one container. In the second alternative, the moving retention member further includes a second gripping device, including a second retention element, the second gripping device having a second configuration, different from the first configuration, for selectively retaining said at least one container.

This conveying hand is used for conveying a conveyed object in an adsorbed state with a negative pressure, and comprises a pad having a contact portion that contacts the conveyed object and a concave portion having an internal space that can be evacuated; a base that moves while loading the pad; a first elastic member that movably supports the pad on the base in the direction of gravity of the conveyed object and restricts a movement of the pad on the base in the direction perpendicular to the direction of gravity; and a second elastic member that seals a space communicating with the internal space of the concave portion and movably supports the pad on the base in the direction of gravity.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRE-PLATING STRUCTURAL MEMBERS
Pre-plating systems and related methods are disclosed. A pre-plating system includes a press, an infeed robot configured to deliver a structural member to the press, and an outfeed robot configured to remove the structural member from the press. The press is configured to secure a plate to the structural member while the structural member is held in position by at least one of the infeed robot or the outfeed robot. A pre-plating system includes a press, a transfer pedestal, a plate picking robot, and a press loading robot. The plate picking robot is configured to pick a plate from a container and position the plate on the transfer pedestal. The press loading robot is configured to transfer the plate to the press. The press is configured to press the plate into a structural member positioned within the press.
ROBOT BLADE HAVING MULTIPLE SENSORS FOR MULTIPLE DIFFERENT ALIGNMENT TASKS
A robot for transferring a wafer is disclosed. A blade of the robot includes a first sensor on an upper surface of the blade and the second sensor on a back surface of the blade. The first sensor is operable to align the blade with a wafer. The second sensor is operable to align the blade with a holder that holds the wafer.
Produce Picking Device, System and Method
A produce picking device comprising: one or more robotic actuators; a camera; a vacuum device; a conveyor conduit having a sealable picking effector, wherein the conveyor conduit includes a plurality of deformable lips substantially equally distributed along and between a first end and an exit aperture of the conveyor; and a controller, having a processor configured to: receive one or more images of a plant from the camera; detect, using an object detection model, the pickable object of the plant; determine a position of the pickable object relative to the camera; control the one or more robotic actuators according to the determined position; and actuate the vacuum device to sealingly engage, pick and convey the pickable object. The pickable object that is picked is incrementally conveyed and supported between the plurality of deformable lips along the conveyor conduit from the first end to the exit aperture.
