Isolator system
A workspace isolated from an exterior space by a partition, a glove provided to the partition so that an external surface thereof is exposed to the workspace and an internal surface thereof communicates with the exterior space, and a robot configured to insert an arm into the glove and perform a work in the workspace. The glove includes, at a tip-end part thereof, an operating part provided inside the glove, and a hand part provided so as to be exposed to the workspace.
Food-safe, washable, thermally-conductive robot cover
A cover for an automated robot includes elastic sheets that are adhered to each other in a geometry. The geometry is configured to allow the elastic sheets to expand and contract while the automated robot moves within its range of motion. The elastic sheets are attached to the automated robot by elasticity of the elastic sheets. A first group of the elastic sheets forms an elastic collar configured to grip the automated robot at a distal end and a proximal end of the cover in a non-breakable manner such that during operation of the robot, the elastic sheets hold their elasticity and integrity without breaking.
Robot
A robot having a shaft extending in vertical directions at an end of an arm pivoting in horizontal directions around a pivot axis parallel to the vertical directions and performing work using an end effector attached to a lower end of the shaft, the shaft having a helical groove and a longitudinal groove to enable upward and downward motion in the vertical directions and pivot around an axis of the shaft, includes a ring-shaped packing having a convex portion to engage with the longitudinal groove, fitted on the shaft, and sandwiched and fixed by a stopper portion and a collar portion in an extension direction of the shaft.
Protective robot wrap
The present disclosure relates generally to protective covers, for example, suitable for protecting parts of a robot. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a protective wrap for a robot component. The protective wrap includes a continuous strip of a material sheet configured to wrap around the robot component in a plurality of loops so as to form a tubular body that surrounds a portion of the robot component.
Work device and dual-arm work device
A work device includes a work device body and a contact preventer. The work device body includes a linear motion unit having three degrees of freedom and a rotary unit having three degrees of freedom. An end effector is mounted on an output portion of the rotary unit. The contact preventer separates a working region in which the work device body is installed, from a non-working region outside the working region. The contact preventer includes: an entry allowing portion allowing an object to enter the working region therethrough; and an entry allowing portion entry detection sensor configured to detect entry of an object into the working region through the entry allowing portions.
APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTING SUBSTRATE, SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING SUBSTRATE, AND METHOD OF TRANSPORTING SUBSTRATE
There is provided an apparatus for transporting a substrate. The apparatus comprises: an end effector including a fork which holds the substrate and a wrist part which holds a proximal end portion of the fork; an arm provided with the end effector installed thereon and a mechanism which moves the fork; and an inclination adjusting mechanism provided between the fork and the wrist part or between the wrist part and the arm to adjust an inclination of the fork.
Backpack support module for a modular exoskeleton structure
The invention relates to a modular exoskeleton structure that provides force assistance to a user, comprising a base module (1) comprising a lumbar belt (11) capable of surrounding the lower trunk of the user, two hip modules capable of being attached to two respective thighs of the user, and a backpack support module (14) for an exoskeleton structure, comprising: a hoop (141) designed to be anchored to the hip modules, at the hips of a user, a support rod (142) designed to extend along the back of the user and capable of being engaged in a pouch of a backpack to suspend the backpack to the backpack support module (14), wherein the rod (142) comprises a first rod element (1421) connected to the hoop (141), a second rod element (1422) capable of sliding with respect to the first rod element (1421) so as to vary a length of the rod (142), and a damper for cushioning the movement of the second rod element (1421) with respect to the first rod element (1422) caused by the walking of the user.
A MECHANICAL HAND
The present application describes a cover assembly (102) for a prosthetic or robot hand, comprising a substantially flexible cover portion (104) locatable on at least one moveable digit assembly of a prosthetic hand; and at least one substantially rigid cover element (208, 210, 212, 214) attachable to the flexible cover portion. A prosthetic or robot hand comprising a cover assembly and a method of assembling a prosthetic or robot hand are also described.
HEAT BARRIER LAMINATE
A heat barrier laminate for use as a skin, the laminate comprising in the following order: a) a radiant barrier layer, b) a heat-insulating layer comprising a first polymer, c) a spacer layer comprising a fabric, and d) a heat-insulating layer comprising a second polymer, wherein the first polymer and/or the second polymer comprise a heat-insulating filler selected from hollow glass particles, hollow ceramic particles, hollow polymer particles, and a combination thereof.
Adaptor for food-safe, bin-compatible, washable, tool-changer utensils
Robots, including robot arms, can interface with other modules to affect the world surrounding the robot. However, designing modules from scratch when human analogues exist is not efficient. In an embodiment, a mechanical tool, converted from human use, to be used by robots includes a monolithic adaptor having two interface components. The two interface components include a first interface component cabal be of mating with an actuated mechanism on the robot side, the second interface capable of clamping to an existing utensil. In such a way, utensils that are intended for humans can be adapted for robots and robotic arms.
