Blade assembly and knife therefor
A knife has two housing parts as well as a blade and a blade support. The support has a blade seat having a contact face normally engaging a blade face with the opposite blade face being freely accessible. The parts are movable between an operating position with the blade projecting and a stowed position with the blade wholly contained. A holder on the blade support secures the blade in the seat via interlocking formations that hold the blade against the contact face but that are so constructed that the blade has a degree of freedom in at least one direction in order to be detached from the blade seat. A latch on the holder has a bolt movable between a bolted position detachably fitted in the seat and holding the blade there and a released position out of the seat and allowing the blade to be replaced.
Folding Knife
A folding knife having an elongated handle defining a finger hole proximate one end of the handle and a blade having a cutting edge and pivotally connected to the handle and configured to move with respect to the handle between a retracted position and an extended position. The blade is configured such that a portion of the cutting edge extends into the finger hole upon the blade being in the retracted position. A blade cover is connected to the handle and is configured to move between an operable position and a withdrawn position. A spring is configured to contact and automatically move the blade cover from the operable position towards the withdrawn position, whereby, as the blade reaches the retracted position, the blade cover is automatically moved to the operable position and covers the portion of the cutting edge of the blade extending into the finger hole, and upon the blade moving towards the extended position, the spring automatically moves the blade cover from the operable position towards the withdrawn position.
LOCKING FOLDABLE KNIFE
A locking foldable knife comprises a locking assembly that reliably locks a blade in an extended position for use. The locking assembly utilizes the surface area of a shaped peripheral edge at a second end of a blade, together with, confirming structures of a locking bar, and one or more stops to reliably lock a blade in an extended position. A locking assembly also locks a blade in a folded position in one or more embodiments of the locking foldable knife.
Power-assisted folding knife
A power-assisted folding knife, including: a blade holder; a blade arranged in the blade holder; a handle rotatably connected to the blade holder; a locking mechanism for locking the blade holder in an unfolded position and/or a folded position; the power-assisted folding knife further includes a power-assisting mechanism connected to the blade holder and the handle, for providing assisting power when unfolding a power-assisted folding knife. The power-assisted folding knife uses an assisting mechanism for providing assisting power when unfolding a folding knife, so as to facilitate easier unfolding of the folding knife and to allow single hand operation; the blade holder can be locked in an unfolded position and/or a folded position to ensure safe use of the power-assisted folding knife.

Folding machete
A knife includes a blade defining an aperture and a handle. The handle includes a body pivotably coupled to the blade, a catch movably coupled to the body, and a biasing member coupled to the body. The catch includes a protrusion. The biasing member is configured to apply a biasing force on the catch. The handle is selectively repositionable between a first position and a second position relative to the blade. The biasing force biases the protrusion of the catch toward the blade when the handle is in the first position. The protrusion is received by the aperture to prevent rotation of the handle relative to the blade when the handle is in the first position.

Folding knife with frame lock guard
A knife includes a blade and a handle assembly. The handle assembly is rotatably coupled to the blade, and extends along a longitudinal axis. The handle assembly includes a side frame, a handle frame, a locking arm, and a guard. The handle frame is spaced apart from the side frame and defines a cavity with the side frame. The locking arm is coupled to the side frame and is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking arm is defined by an arm length. The guard is coupled to the side frame, and is positioned outward from the locking arm relative to the longitudinal axis. The guard overlays at least a portion of the locking arm along the longitudinal axis, and is defined by a guard length. A ratio of the guard length to the arm length is greater than seventy-five percent.

Folding knife with locking linkage assembly
In one representative embodiment, a folding knife comprises a blade having a tang portion, a first linking element, a second linking element, and a handle. The blade can be translatable between a storage position and a use position. The first linking element can be pivotably coupled to the tang portion at a first pivot axis and the second linking element can be pivotably coupled to the tang portion at a second pivot axis. The handle can be pivotably coupled to the first and second linking elements at third and fourth pivot axes, respectively. The handle can have a first locking surface configured to resist movement of the blade in a first direction and a second locking surface configured to resist movement of the blade in an opposing second direction.
