Easily disassembled folding knife
A folding knife includes a handle and a blade. The handle includes a first side portion and a second side portion. The blade is pivotably coupled to the handle and pivotable relative to the handle about a pivot axis between a closed position and an open position. The first side portion of the handle comprises a first portion and a second portion, the second portion slidable relative to the first portion in a longitudinal direction that is perpendicular to the pivot axis and parallel to a longitudinal axis of the first portion, between a first position and a second position. When the second portion is in the first position, the first portion is prevented from rotating relative to the second portion and the second side portion, and when the second portion is in the second position, the first portion is rotatable relative to the second portion and the second side portion.

Rotatable safety mechanism for automatic folding knife
An automatic folding knife including a locking and safety mechanism. The locking and safety mechanism includes a radially outer surface on a blade attachment ring having an arcuate blade-open locking recess and an arcuate blade-closed locking recess circumferentially spaced from each other. A generally cylindrical lock ring is selectively axially movable into and out of engagement with the locking recesses so as to selectively lock the blade in either its open position or its closed position. A rotatable “safety” push button is provided to push the lock ring out of engagement. The rotatable push button can be rotated from its “active” position to a “safe” position regardless of whether the knife blade is open or closed.

IMPROVED FOLDING KNIFE
A folding knife including a handle rotatably coupled to a blade through a connecting portion of the latter; the blade being adapted to rotate about a rotation axis with respect to the handle between at least a first position, in which it is extracted from the handle, and a second position, in which it is at least partially housed in the handle. Specifically, the folding knife includes a slider element associated with the blade through a connecting element so as to actuate the rotation of the blade, and the handle includes a guide slit formed facing the connecting portion having a shape of an arc of circumference concentric to the rotation axis, wherein the guide slit is adapted to be slidably engaged by the slider element so as to actuate the rotation of the blade between the first position and the second position.
FOLDING KNIFE
A folding knife has an elongated frame defining a major plane and having a pivot element at a pivot end and defining a pivot axis and the frame defining a blade receptacle, an elongated blade occupying the major plane having a tip end and a base end, a spine edge and a cutting edge, and opposed major faces, the base end connected to the pivot element, the blade being operable to pivot between a stowed position in which the blade is received in the blade receptacle and an extended position in which the tip end of the blade extends away from the frame, and the blade having a lock feature proximate the base end, a button lock element connected to the frame proximate the pivot element and operable to selectably engage the lock feature when the blade is in the extended position.
Folding knife
Systems, methods, and apparatus are described for a locking folding knife having a handle lock and a safety switch arranged around and rotatable around a pivot axis of the knife. In an engaged position the switch overlaps at least a portion of the handle lock and prevents it from moving into an unlocked position. A spring, such as a wire form spring, can be arranged within a pocket of the switch, and when the switch is moved between engaged and disengaged positions the spring can be compressed generating a rotational bias on the switch urging the switch toward either the engaged or disengaged position.
Knife with ambidextrous actuators and locking mechanism
A folding knife has ambidextrously accessible trigger mechanism for releasing the blade from its open and locked position so that it may be moved to the closed position, and when the knife is fitted with an automatic opening mechanism, for releasing the blade from its closed and locked position to the open and locked position. When the blade reaches the open position a novel locking mechanism securely locks the blade open. The trigger mechanism comprises a button on each side of the knife handle. The user may fire the automatic opening mechanism by depressing either the right or left hand trigger button, or both simultaneously. The release mechanism may be incorporated in an auto-assist or manual knife. The locking mechanisms described herein may be incorporated into a manual opening knife or a knife with an auto-assist opening mechanism and in all cases, the knife incorporates a locking mechanism that locks the blade open in a highly secure manner.
Low profile pocket tool
This invention is directed toward a versatile, low profile pocket tool. The pocket tool contains only a single backing plate and can be made without using any screws, pins, or other fasteners. In that way, the implements can easily be removed and interchanged. The stability of the pocket tool is gained by using an tabs that interlock around a track on the implement. This interlocking facilitates rotation and stability. In embodiments, there can be a single tab and a single track, or multiple tabs and multiple tracks.
Asymmetrical cutting tool having dual eccentric thumb studs
An asymmetrical cutting tool has a partially cord-wrapped handle with a first handle panel, a second handle panel, and an intercheangeable overlay. The cutting tool further includes a folding blade, pivotably attached to the cord-wrapped/overlaid handle, and having a partially concave edge and a punch tip. The folding blade is operable to transition between a locked state and an unlocked state. Lock wear is compensated by dual eccentric thumb studs which act as a camshaft lobe to alter the position of the blade with respect to the lock while in the locked state. The partially cord-wrapped handle is configured to receive the folding blade when the blade transitions from the locked state into the unlocked state.
