SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REINSURANCE OF AIR PURIFICATION
A chemical disinfection process for vehicles using chlorine dioxide and titanium dioxide with calculated re-treatment formulas and schedules based on bacterial infestation data. Systems and methods that include client devices and servers that monitor and control a chemical disinfection process. The system generates a surety arrangement that facilitates re-treatment and electronic notification alerts to chemical solution vendors, dealers and vehicle owners.
SECURITY BIN MATS AND SECURITY BINS INCLUDING AN ACTIVE COATING
Certain embodiments described herein are directed to security bin mats and security bins that include one more bioactive materials. In some embodiments, the security bin mats can be used with security bins in screening applications such as those used in airports, courthouses and other facilities. The security bin mats and security bins can be used to reduce spread of infections.
BUTTON COVERS AND BUTTONS WITH BIOACTIVE MATERIALS
Certain embodiments described herein are directed to button covers that can reversibly couple to a button. In some examples, the button cover comprises a bioactive material that can kill or inactivate bioorganisms. The bioactive material can be a photocatalyst and/or may comprise one or more transition metals. The button may be present in an elevator, on an ATM machine, on a touchpad or on other devices. Methods of using the buttons covers and buttons to reduce or prevent infections are also described.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE SCREEN COVERS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES WITH BIOACTIVE MATERIALS
Certain embodiments described herein are directed to electronic device screen covers that include one more bioactive materials. In some embodiments, the electronic device screen covers can be used with capacitive touch screens on electronic devices such as cellular phones, tablets, laptops, kiosk displays or other electronic devices that include screens. Methods of using the screen covers and screens to reduce spread of infections are also described.
HANDLE COVERS AND HANDLES WITH BIOACTIVE SURFACE COATINGS
Certain embodiments described herein are directed to handle covers that can reversibly couple to a handle. In some examples, the handle cover comprises a bioactive material that can kill or inactivate bioorganisms. The bioactive material can be a photocatalyst and may also comprise one or more transition metals. Methods of using the handle covers and handles to reduce spread of infections are also described.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BULK STERILIZATION USING OZONE
A sterilization system may include an ozone generator, a buffer chamber, an ozone concentration monitor or cuvette, a treatment chamber, one or more valves, and a controller. The ozone generator generates a flow of ozone. The buffer chamber stores the flow of ozone. The ozone cuvette monitors a concentration of ozone from the buffer chamber. The treatment chamber receives a material for sterilization, and receives a flow of air/ozone. The controller selectively and independently controls each of the valves. The sterilization system including first and second operating modes. In the first operating mode, the treatment chamber is isolated from the ozone generator and the buffer chamber such that ozone is not being supplied to the treatment chamber. In the second operating mode, the treatment chamber is in communication with the ozone generator and the buffer chamber such that ozone is being supplied to the treatment chamber.
PROCESS FOR PROVIDING A DENTAL ARTICLE
A process for providing a sterilized dental article, at least a portion of the surface of which exhibiting a contact angle of less than 45. The process includes the subsequent steps of a) providing a dental article and b) subjecting the initial dental article to a hydrogen peroxide plasma treatment. It is characterized in that the hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization treatment of step b) is carried out in the presence of a carbon-containing compound, which during treatment is converted to form a carboxylic group attached to the surface of the dental article.
AEROSOL COMPOSITION, AND AEROSOL SPRAY CAN FILLED WITH AEROSOL COMPOSITION
The present invention provides an aerosol composition filled in an aerosol spray can and including at least a spray liquid containing water and a functional fine particle, and a propellant containing dimethylether. A volume ratio G/L of a volume L of the spray liquid and a volume G of the propellant in the spray can is 0.9 to 1.5.
PHOTOCATALYTIC FILTER AND AIR CONDITIONING DEVICE COMPRISING PHOTOCATALYTIC FILTER
An air conditioning device is disclosed. The present air conditioning device comprises: a photocatalytic filter including a space through which air can pass and having a transition metal oxide formed in a nanotube form on the surface thereof, the transition metal oxide removing gases included in the air and including at least one of TiO.sub.2, ZnO, NiO, and WO.sub.3; and a light source for emitting light to the photocatalytic filter.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VAPORIZED HYDROGEN PEROXIDE CLEANING OF CONTENTS OF A CHAMBER OF A CONTAINER
A method is provided for reducing a duration of an inactivate step of a decontamination process of contents within a chamber of a container. The method includes at least one of directing air in contact with a catalyst to reduce a level of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in the air during the inactivate step and/or altering a temperature of air within the chamber during the inactivate step. A system is also provided for performing one or more steps of the method. The system includes the container defining the chamber; the catalyst; a component configured to direct air through the catalyst; and a processor configured to cause components of the system to perform one or more steps of the method.
