ELECTRIC SHAVER
The present invention relates to electric shavers, handpieces of such shavers and a method of manufacturing such electric shavers. More particularly, the present invention relates to a shaver set comprising a plurality of electric shavers.
ELECTRIC SHAVER
The present invention relates to an electric shaver. More particularly, the present invention relates to an electric shaver comprising a handle and a shaver head including at least one cutter unit having a drivable cutter element and a shear foil, wherein said shaver head is connected to said handle by means of a support structure which in some cases may provide for some movability of the shaver head relative to the handle. Said shaver head and/or said at least one cutter unit may have an elongated contour with a main axis extending transverse to the handle's longitudinal axis and substantially parallel to a cutter oscillation axis of said cutter element. The shaver head is spaced apart from the handle with a gap defined between a bottom face of said shaver head and a top face of said handle, said gap forming a ring-shaped contraction in the outer contour of the shaver around said support structure and giving access to the support structure bridging said gap.
Personal care device
A personal care device comprising a main housing, a hair-cutting module displaceable with respect to the main housing against spring force in a direction parallel to a main axis, and a sensor comprising a first sensor unit connected to the main housing and a second sensor unit connected to the hair-cutting module. The hair cutting module is also tiltable in directions relative to the main housing. By measuring average displacement of the hair cutting module at multiple locations, the sensor is sensitive only to displacement parallel to the main axis. The sensor measures such displacement and determines the force needed to effect such displacement. If the force is larger than a predetermined value, a warning signal will be produced.
Rotary electric shaver
A rotary electric shaver includes a head connected to a blade setting base of a main body. The blade setting base has a setting part in which a plurality of blade units are disposed, and a blade frame that holds the setting part. An inner blade part of the blade unit has an inner blade member, and a base part joined to the inner blade member. An outer blade part of the blade unit has an annular outer blade member having a sliding contact surface and a plurality of slits formed in the circumferential direction, a disk-shaped cover, a ball, and a support. A part of the ball surrounded by the cover and the support protrudes from the cover.
Shaving device with improved contour following
A shaving head includes at least one cutting unit in which an external cutting member is subjected to a shaving action. The external cutting member is suspended relative to a holder of the shaving head through suspension means. The suspension means includes at least two pivot constructions, wherein one pivot construction enables a member of the suspension means to be pivotable relative to the holder. The other pivot construction enables the external cutting member to be pivotable relative to the suspension member. Furthermore, a pivoting stiffness of a connection of the latter pivot construction is lower than a pivoting stiffness of the first pivot construction. In this manner, good contour following performance is obtained at two levels, in both relatively small and relatively large curvature changing areas.
Shaver head for an electric shaver
A shaver head for an electric shaver has at least two hair-cutting units, each of which includes an external cutting member and an internal cutting member that is rotatable relative to the external cutting member. Each of the hair-cutting units is supported by a supporting portion that is linearly movable under the bias of a spring member relative to a base portion of the shaver head between a first, retracted position and a second, extended position. The shaver head has a locking mechanism for selectively locking the supporting portion in a locked position relative to the base portion allowing a user to select different shaving modes.
ROTARY ELECTRIC SHAVER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING INNER BLADE OF ROTARY ELECTRIC SHAVER
A rotary electric shaver according to the present invention includes an outer blade whose upper surface functions as annular shaving surfaces having multiple hair inlets formed therein, and an inner blade that has a small blade which rotates while coming into sliding contact with a lower surface of the outer blade. The inner blade is an integral structure using a metal material, and has a projection in which an upper surface side is a convex portion and a lower surface side is a concave portion at a center position in a radial direction. An upper end portion of an inner blade drive shaft directly engages with the concave portion so as to be disengageable therefrom.
Rotary electric shaver
In a rotary electric shaver according to the present invention, a plurality of blade units that include an outer blade having an annular shaving surface on an upper surface and an inner blade rotating in sliding contact with a lower surface of the outer blade are arranged in a head unit held by a main body so as to be tiltable. A main drive shaft outputting drive force of a motor accommodated in the main body and a rotary shaft of any one blade unit out of the plurality of blade units are connected by a movable joint, and a position of the movable joint serves as a tilting fulcrum for tilting the head unit.
Shaving head with pivotable shaving unit
A shaving head having a shaving unit that includes a shaving unit frame with a skin contacting face, and at least two cutting units each having an external cutting member and an internal cutting member A pivot structure includes inter-engaging portions of a support structure and the shaving unit that enable the shaving unit to pivot relative to the support structure. Each internal cutting member is rotatable by a central driving member via a separate cutter driving member, the central driving member being configured to transmit a driving force to each cutter driving member in a transmission location. The pivot structure is located in an internal area of the shaving head between the skin contacting face, the cutter driving members and the transmission locations. The pivot structure further enables the central driving member and the cutter driving members to pivot together with the shaving unit relative to the support structure.
Rotary Electric Shaver
A rotary electric shaver includes a gear case arranged inside a head unit, a lower gear arranged in a lower portion of the gear case, coaxially having an outer blade gear for driving an outer blade and an inner blade gear for driving an inner blade, an upper gear arranged in an upper portion of the gear case to drive the outer blade, and a transmission gear having an input gear arranged in the lower portion of the gear case and to which driving power is input from the lower gear, and an output gear arranged in the upper portion of the gear case to drive the upper gear, in which the input gear and the output gear are coaxial and a rotary shaft vertically penetrates the gear case. The driving power from the upper gear drives an outer blade drive gear for driving the outer blade.
