BEARD TRIMMER
A beard trimmer which has a handle, a motor and a removable head portion. The head portion has first long hair cutter unit for trimming the hair length that is provided with a non-foil type outer cutter and an inner cutter. A first comb unit is provided having comb elements located adjacent to multiple cutting slots of the outer cutter. One comb element is provided on each of the opposite sides of the outer cutter. Each comb element provided with a row of comb teeth and comb slots separating the comb teeth from another. Each of the comb teeth has a tooth skin contact surface which is located on an elevated upper level relative to a cutter skin contact surface of the outer cutter.

A beard trimmer which has a handle, a motor and a removable head portion. The head portion has at least a first long hair cutter unit for trimming hair. The first long hair cutter unit has first, non-foil type outer cutter and a first inner cutter, with the first outer cutter stacked onto the first inner cutter.
CUTTING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a cutting device capable of more reliably preventing shavings from entering a gap formed between a dial and a main body. A cutting device according to the present disclosure includes a main body, a fixed blade fixed to the main body, a movable blade capable of reciprocating in a slidable way with respect to the fixed blade, and a dial that is rotatably attached to the main body and is operated when a cutting height is adjusted. A rib which faces a clearance formed between the dial and the main body in a radial direction of the dial is formed in the main body.
CUTTING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a cutting device capable of more reliably preventing an erroneous operation of a dial during use. The cutting device according to the present disclosure includes: a main body including a grip; and a blade part including a fixed blade fixed to the main body and a movable blade capable of reciprocating in a slidable way with respect to the fixed blade. Furthermore, the cutting device includes a dial that is rotatably attached to the main body and is operated when a cutting height is adjusted, and a cover that covers a part of the dial in a state where rotation of the dial is permitted. The dial is attached between the grip and the blade part to the main body, and the cover covers a grip side of the dial.
CUTTING DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a cutting device capable of further improving operability of a dial. A cutting device according to the present disclosure includes a main body, a fixed blade fixed to the main body, and a movable blade capable of reciprocating in a slidable way with respect to the fixed blade. Furthermore, the cutting device includes a cutting height adjustment mechanism that includes a dial rotatably attached to the main body and is capable of adjusting a cutting height by rotating the dial. The cutting height adjustment mechanism includes a holding mechanism capable of holding the dial in a stepwise manner, and the holding mechanism includes a recess and a protrusion part that are releasably engaged with each other. At least one of the recess and the protrusion part includes an irregularly-shaped engagement part having a different shape on one side and the other side in a rotation direction of the dial.
Blade assembly having entrapped spring
A blade assembly for a hair cutting apparatus includes a first blade having teeth extending along a first blade edge, and a second blade having teeth extending along a second blade edge. A distance between the first and second blade edges defines a blade gap. A yoke is coupled to the second blade and configured to convert motion of a drive into reciprocation of the second blade relative to the first blade to cut hair. A spring includes a spring base and at least one spring arm configured to reciprocate with the second blade. A guide assembly includes a guide and a spring retainer, the guide being positioned between the first blade and the second blade, and the spring retainer fixing the spring base relative to the first blade, wherein in response to moving the guide relative to the first blade, the blade gap changes.

An intelligent hair clipper training system includes a housing having hair associated therewith, an electric hair clipper for cutting the hair on the housing, at least one comb associated with the hair clipper, a sensor array for detecting a position of the electric hair clipper relative to the housing, an indicator arrangement for indicating different zones of hair on the housing, and a control arrangement configured to interpret positional data provided by the sensor array and cause the indicator arrangement to illuminate one or more of the zones of hair on the housing.
BLADE ASSEMBLY HAVING ENTRAPPED SPRING
A blade assembly for a hair cutting apparatus includes a first blade having teeth extending along a first blade edge, and a second blade having teeth extending along a second blade edge. A distance between the first and second blade edges defines a blade gap. A yoke is coupled to the second blade and configured to convert motion of a drive into reciprocation of the second blade relative to the first blade to cut hair. A spring includes a spring base and at least one spring arm configured to reciprocate with the second blade. A guide assembly includes a guide and a spring retainer, the guide being positioned between the first blade and the second blade, and the spring retainer fixing the spring base relative to the first blade, wherein in response to moving the guide relative to the first blade, the blade gap changes.

The present invention relates to a cutter system for an electric shaver and/or trimmer, comprising a pair of comb-like cutting elements with cooperating toothed cutting edges and movably supported relative to each other by a support element, wherein lateral ends of at least one of said cutting elements are provided with lateral protection elements having rounded and/or chamfered edge contours for soft skin engagement, wherein said lateral protection element is integrally formed in one part with the cutting element by an end portion of the cutting element bent away from a skin contact surface thereof and enveloping a gap movably receiving the other cutting element and/or enveloping the support element.
Hair trimmer blade set with adjustable blades
An adjustable hair trimmer blade set is provided, including a blade chassis, a blade platform linearly displaceable relative to the blade chassis, a stationary blade secured to the blade platform, and a moving blade constructed and arranged for slidable linear reciprocation relative to the stationary blade in a direction of cutting action. An offset rod has at least one offset cam lobe and is rotatably engaged in the chassis along an axis generally parallel to the direction of cutting action. A retaining spring has at least one loop engaged by the offset rod for holding the spring in operational relationship to the chassis.
