20250135668 · 2025-05-01 ·

An adjustable bladeset for a hair clipper with a clipper housing includes a stationary blade having a stationary toothed end with a plurality of stationary teeth, an opposite stationary base end and an upper surface, and a moving blade having a moving toothed end with a plurality of moving teeth, the moving blade configured for reciprocal transverse movement relative to the stationary blade on the upper surface. The stationary blade is linearly displaceable relative to the moving blade by action of an adjustment lever on the clipper housing. A blade guide is on the upper surface at the stationary base end, and has at least one toothed strip. The adjustment lever is connected to a blade actuator shaft having at least one toothed cog configured to engage the toothed strip so that rotation of the actuator shaft causes the linear displacement of the stationary blade relative to the moving blade.

ADJUSTABLE BLADESET FOR HAIR CUTTING DEVICE AND HAIR CUTTING DEVICE INCORPORATING SAME

A bladeset for an electric hair cutting device includes a moving blade, a stationary blade, and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting a position of the moving blade relative to the stationary blade to allow for user control of a length of hair cut by the device. The bladeset includes provisions for maintaining sufficient parallelism of the moving blade relative to the stationary blade despite its adjustability.

A flex clipper provides a feature to help the cutting blade set float more effortlessly by adjusting automatically to the contours of a client's head to prevent getting stuck and causing cuts and irritation to the scalp. The hair clipper preferably also uses a self-contained motor-driven pivotable adjustment mechanism to adjust the relative position of the stationary and reciprocating blades of a common type of blade set. One or more on/off switches operable by the thumb of the hand holding the clipper to afford a barber total automatic adjustment with the clipper itself in an on or off condition.

TRIMMER WITH MULTIPLE SETTINGS

A head of the trimmer includes a fixed blade and vibrating blade joined together through a block in a manner allowing vibration of the vibrating blade relative to the fixed blade. A block is attached to the vibrating blade in a removable fashion, and resides within a slot which allows the vibrating blade and block to slide relative to the fixed blade and remain connected to the fixed blade. The block can be removed, flipped and reattached, with the block being provided with top and bottom offsets which are different in size from each other, such that flipping of the block causes a tip line of teeth of the vibrating blade to have a different offset with a tip line of teeth of the fixed blade. The trimmer can thus be reconfigured between a standard configuration and a tight configuration, the tight configuration cutting hair shorter than the standard configuration.

HAIRCUTTER AND HAIRCUTTING BLADE

The haircutter according to the invention serves for trimming and styling hair and comprises a grip and a blade head connected with the grip. A working section is disposed at one longitudinal face of the blade head and recessed from an alignment line of the longitudinal face. A haircutting blade having at least one cutting edge is accommodated in the blade head and disposed so as to expose at least part of its cutting edge in the working section and to not protrude beyond the alignment line. The blade head comprises a guiding device having at least one placing surface for the hair to be trimmed so that the hair to be trimmed lies at a defined angle to the cutting edge as the placing surface is placed against the hair.

Device for adjusting a blade of a hair trimmer

An adjusting device for adjusting a blade of a hair trimmer where the blade of the hair trimmer has a dynamic cutter blade and a static comb blade. The adjusting device comprises a base, an adjuster pivotably connected to the base, a locator for locating the blade and a biasing means for biasing the blade against the adjuster. The adjuster has a comb-contacting face at a first radial distance from its rotation axis while a cutter-adjusting face is at a second radial distance from the rotation axis, the second radial distance being larger than the first radial distance. By rotating the adjuster, a clearance is created between the cutter blade and the comb blade.

Hair removal device

The present invention relates to a hair removal device, in particular a hair trimmer or a shaver or a hair trimmer portion of a shaver, comprising a handle with a motor and a hair removal head, said hair removal head being provided with at least a first hair cutting unit with an outer blade and an inner blade, said inner blade being reciprocally moveable along a first axis relative to the outer blade, wherein said outer blade comprises a row of teeth cooperating with said inner blade for cutting hair. At an outer border first and second skin support surfaces are provided. The skin sides of tooth tips are provided below or on same level as at least one of said first and second skin support surface in a direction towards said handle or said skin sides of said tooth tips are configured such to not cross or extend beyond a connecting line parallel to said second axis between said first and second skin support surfaces.

A CUTTING ASSEMBLY

A cutting assembly (20) for a hair cutting device (10) comprising: a guard blade (22) comprising a plurality of guard teeth (28) distributed along a top edge of the guard blade and defining an x-axis (50) passing through tips of the guard teeth, a cutting blade (24) configured to cooperate with the guard blade to cut hairs, the cutting blade comprising a plurality of cutting teeth (30) extending along a cutting edge of the cutting blade and defining a cutting axis (150) passing through tips of the cutting teeth, wherein the guard blade is assembled adjacent to the cutting blade so that: the guard blade and the cutting blade are configured to slide within a blade plane relative to one another whilst remaining in contact with one another, the guard teeth and the cutting teeth overlap, and the cutting axis parallel to the x-axis; wherein the cutting blade is configured to move reciprocally along the cutting axis relative to the guard blade, such that the cutting teeth and the guard teeth cooperate to cut hairs; and an adjustment mechanism (26) comprising an input device configured to be manipulated by a user, wherein the adjustment mechanism is configured to be switched between a neutral configuration and a y-set configuration: wherein in the y-set configuration, the input device of the adjustment mechanism is engaged with a y-gear mechanism such that manipulation of the input device forces movement of the y-gear mechanism, which moves the cutting blade along a y-axis 250, perpendicular to the x-axis and within the blade plane, relative to the guard blade to align the cutting axis with the x-axis within the blade plane; and where in in the neutral configuration, the input device is disengaged from the y-gear mechanism such that the input device is freely manipulatable without resulting in movement of the cutting blade along the y-axis relative to the guard blade.
