Sterilizer for Car by Using HOCL and Control Method Thereof
A sterilizer for a vehicle includes a controller, a supply water storage configured to accommodate water required for generating hypochlorous acid water (HOCL) under control of the controller, an HOCL generator configured to generate HOCL by using water accommodated in the supply water storage under the control of the controller, and a sprayer configured to inject the HOCL generated in the HOCL generator to the vehicle under the control of the controller.
Air filter with pathogen monitoring and inactivation
An improved technology for inactivation of viruses, for example the SARS-CoV-2 virus that is causing the Covid-19 pandemic, is described. The technology can include a device that includes a substrate coated in a polymer that is infused with a pathogen inactivating material. In various embodiments, at a given time, a portion of the pathogen inactivating material is exposed to the environment, and the device is configured to periodically or intermittently expose additional pathogen inactivating material to the environment. For example, the polymer can be ablative or sacrificial.
Disinfection Cap
A disinfection cap for a male medical connector comprising a housing, a scrubbing foam having a plurality of slits disposed within a first cavity of the housing, a central post extending from the closed bottom of the housing and positioned within the first cavity of the housing, a foam jacket disposed on the central post and having a plurality of slits; and a central plug disposed in the center of the central post extending from the top wall of the central post and extending into the second cavity of the foam jacket. The inner surface of the foam jacket defines a second cavity.
Antiviral Compound with UV Reflectivity
A dispenser comprising a dispensing device containing a dispensing device solution, the dispensing device solution comprising C.sub.20H.sub.29NO.sub.7Si, the dispensing device solution having antiviral properties and emitting or reflecting UV light, wherein the dispensing device solution may be used in combination with antimicrobial products. wherein the dispensing device solution further comprises polymerizable UV absorbing and fluorescing elements, wherein the polymerizable UV absorbing and fluorescing elements are biodegradable, water soluble and copolymerize into hydrogel polymers, the dispensing device further comprising a dispensing unit. To verify proper application, a UV light source may directed to the dispensed solution.
Antibacterial & Antiviral Decontamination System
The present disclosure relates to a unique and novel antibacterial and antiviral decontamination system that can be integrated into an existing HVAC system in a vehicle, and that can be used to decontaminate and sanitize the interior of the vehicle in a safe, efficient and thorough manner. The system may be controlled manually via a switch within the cabin of the vehicle, or remotely via, for example, a smart device. The system comprises a replaceable and refillable cartridge that contains an antibacterial, antiviral, sanitizing solution, and a vaporizer that is used to vaporize the solution into a fine mist that is then dispersed throughout the interior of the vehicle via the existing HVAC system.
POLYMERIC MICELLES CONTAINING AN ESSENTIAL OIL COMPOUND AND A METHOD OF MAKING SAME
A method of making an anti-microbial nano-particle containing an essential oil compound (EOC) can include the steps of: a) mixing a quantity of an amphiphilic polymer with a quantity of a solvent to produce a suspension b) heating the suspension to a processing temperature that is higher than a glass transition temperature of the amphiphilic polymer thereby formatting a plurality of polymeric micelles within the solvent, each micelle having a hydrophilic outer portion encasing a hydrophobic core and having a micelle diameter of less than about 80 nm; and c) adding a quantity of an essential oil (EOC) or components of such into the suspension so that a concentration of the essential oil compound is between about 0.2% and about 20% wt, whereby the EOC diffuses into and are encapsulated within the hydrophobic cores of each micelle.
CONTACT LENS CLEANER, AND PROTEIN REMOVAL AND STERILIZATION METHOD BY MEANS OF ELECTROPHORESIS DISSOCIATION
A contact lens cleaner and a method for protein removal and sterilization by electrophoresis dissociation are disclosed. The contact lens cleaner comprises a lens cleaning tank (10), two electrophoresis dissociation probes (20) are arranged in the lens cleaning tank (10) opposite each other, and the electrophoresis dissociation probes (20) are electrically connected to a circuit power supply. The lens cleaning tank (10) is filled with an electrolyte solution; a lens to be cleaned is placed in the lens cleaning tank (10); and a switch is turned on, and the two electrophoresis dissociation probes (20) in the lens cleaning tank (10) form an anode and a cathode. There are lacrimal proteins on the surface of the lens to be cleaned, the lacrimal proteins are charged in the solution, and the charged lacrimal proteins move to the electrode opposite to the electrical property thereof in the cleaning tank (10) according to the phenomenon of electrophoresis. The electrolyte solution reacts chemically in the cleaning tank (10) to produce hypochlorite having a strong oxidizing property, and the hypochlorite can degrade the lacrimal proteins, and also can sterilize and disinfect.
Disinfection Device For Female Connectors
A device for connection to a female medical connector is disclosed, the device includes a cap, a scrubbing foam, an elastic sealing lip, and an absorbent material. The cap is configured to define a chamber to contain an absorbent material and disinfectant or antimicrobial agent. The cap may include one or more threads adapted to engage with a female luer connector. The device may also include a peelable seal to maintain sterility prior to use and to prevent the disinfectant or the antimicrobial agent from exiting the chamber prior to use. Also described are methods of disinfecting a medical connector.
