Method and system for determining and storing surface conditions for a field
The disclosure refers to a method for determining and storing surface conditions for a field, comprising: moving an agricultural machine having an earth-working roller system over a field, the earth-working roller system comprising an earth-working roller assembly; detecting sensor signals for an oscillating movement of the earth-working roller assembly; detecting position data for the movement of the earth-working roller system over the field; generating a digital surface map for the field indicative of position-dependent roughness and/or leveling information, the generating comprising assigning the sensor signals to the position data; and storing the digital surface map in a data storage device. Further, a system for determining and storing surface conditions for a field is provided.
Film deployer, improved trash whipper and improved planter
The present invention provides a ground engaging film roller 30.2 having a generally horizontal axis of rotation and an outer circumference for engaging ground, the roller having opposed outer ends 30.21 of a larger circumference than the circumference of portions 30.22 located between the opposed ends. The present invention also provides a film deployment system having a ground engaging film roller as described above, which is rotationally mounted to a frame 30.1, the ground engaging film roller 30.2 receiving film from above and to a front location of the roller, and passing between a film locating roller 30.3 and the ground engaging roller 30.2, the ground engaging roller 30.2 shaping the ground it engages by forming a channel in ground at the opposed ends 30.21 of the roller 30.2 for the film to be located as it leaves engagement with the ground engaging roller 30.2. The present invention also provides an agricultural or horticultural implement 10, 30 for performing an agricultural or horticultural process, the implement 10,30 including whipper arrangement 50 at a location forward of where the process will be performed. The agricultural or horticultural implement 10, 30 can be such that to the rear of where the process is performed there can located film deployment system 30 as described above.

Roller assembly for smoothing granular media
A roller assembly for smoothing an expanse of granular media such as golf bunker sand, snow, horse race track dirt, or other media. The assembly has one or more rollers having a longitudinal axis. Each roller includes wires spaced from the axis to define a roller surface. Each wire is resiliently flexible to distort inwardly in response to force of contact on, and to recover during release of force from, the granular media as the roller rotates about the axis on the granular media. A shaft extends along the axis of the roller assembly between the arms of a yoke with a handle extending therefrom. As the roller surface traverses the media, at least some of the media is flung outwardly of the roller, smoothing the expanse. The roller assembly may be manually operated or may be towed behind a towing apparatus.

Grouser-Cage Attachment for Equipment
A grouser-cage attachment for equipment is an apparatus that imprints troughs into the soil, specifically troughs oriented perpendicular to a slope to hinder rainfall from running straight down the slope. The apparatus includes a main frame, a roller, and a grouser cage. The main frame connects the roller with a piece of equipment or large machinery such as a skid steer. The roller presses the grouser cage into the soil. The grouser cage further includes a cylindrical frame, a plurality of holes, and a plurality of cleats. The cylindrical frame supports and positions the plurality of cleats around the roller. The cylindrical frame freely rotates around and with the roller. The plurality of holes and the plurality of cleats imprints troughs into the soil. The plurality of holes also provides a smooth and continuous rotation for the grouser cage. The roller presses the plurality of cleats into the soil.

Implement with Interchangeable Rotary Drum
An implement with an interchangeable rotor for vehicles, such as skid-steer loaders, tractors, walk, ride, or pull behind power equipment, and the like, with an interchangeable or replaceable surface engaging rotary drum. The implement includes a support frame, a drive transmission assembly, a surface engaging rotary drum, and a removable idler carrier assembly. The implement incorporates a mechanical linkage for transmitting torque and supporting rotor mounting components to allow the rotating surface engaging rotary drum to be quickly and easily removed from the implement frame to either be serviced or interchanged with a rotor designed for a different application and then reattached.

TRACTOR
A tractor includes a working motor, a work machine including a roller configured to rotate by an output from the working motor, a support mechanism configured to support the work machine such that a working posture and a retracting posture are achievable, and a control device. The control device executes: an adherence amount acquisition process of acquiring an estimated adherence amount as an estimated value for the amount of mud attached to the roller; and a mud removal process of, when the estimated adherence amount is equal to or more than a determination adherence amount, removing the mud from the roller by driving the working motor in a state where the work machine takes the retracting posture.
