A displacement width in the length direction of the outer blade between the first slit portion and the second slit portion is set equal to or larger than at least one of widths of connecting portions of the first slit portion and the second slit portion connected to the connecting slit portion.
METHODS OF MANUFACTURING A HAIR TRIMMER ATTACHMENT
According to an aspect, there is provided a method of manufacturing a hair trimmer attachment for a hair trimmer, the hair trimmer attachment comprising a fixed blade comprising: a skin contacting part forming a surface of the hair trimmer attachment to be placed against the skin of a user, in use of the hair trimmer, and an angled part, the angled part being angled relative to the skin contacting part, wherein a plurality of hair openings are spaced apart along a bend between the skin contacting part and the angled part, portions of the fixed blade between the hair openings forming guard teeth of the fixed blade, the method comprising: providing a sheet of material for forming the fixed blade; deforming the sheet of material over a fixed blade support of the hair trimmer attachment to create the bend between the skin contacting part and the angled part of the fixed blade, the bend being curved or angled about an axis extending in a first direction; and forming a compound curved and/or angled portion on the guard teeth.
TACTILE WEAR INDICATOR FOR A CUTTING ELEMENT
There is described a cutting element (106) for a hair cutting device (100). The cutting element (106) comprises a tactile wear indicator (140) that defines a skin-contact surface of the cutting element (106). The tactile wear indicator (140) comprises a wearable outer layer (148) of coating material having a dry lubricant additive (150).
CUTTING HEAD FOR ELECTRIC HAIR CLIPPERS
Disclosed is a cutting head for electric hair clippers capable of providing a smooth and stable haircut and improving processing efficiency and product quality. The cutting head for electric hair clippers includes a fixed cutter, which is secured to a main body of the electric hair clippers and includes a plurality of fixed blades, and a movable cutter, which is configured to perform linear reciprocating movement relative to the fixed cutter using electric power applied to the electric hair clippers and includes a plurality of movable blades. Each of the movable blades has a movable cutting surface maintained in surface contact with a corresponding one of the fixed blades, and a retaining groove formed in the movable cutting surface. The retaining groove in the movable cutting surface constitutes a lubricant-retaining portion and is embodied as a groove engraved inward through a laser etching process.
Trimmer
A device for trimming stems and the leafy plant structure projecting from a flower of a plant, for example a harvested flower of a marijuana plant. The device includes a blade head for supporting a pair of sheet blades, each sheet blade having a contact surface, the contact surface of the first sheet blade configured for reciprocating motion against the contact surface of the second. The first sheet blade and the second sheet blade are formed having numerous trimming apertures such that as the first sheet blade reciprocates against the second sheet blade, the plurality of first sheet blade trimming apertures and the plurality of second sheet aperture alternately, and at last partially, align and close creating a shearing action between the edges defining each of the plurality of first sheet blade trimming apertures and an edge defining each of the plurality of second sheet blade trimming apertures.
HAIR CLIPPING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a hair clipping device (10) which comprises a housing (14), a cutting assembly (16) including a stationary cutting blade (32) and a moveable cutting blade (34), a drive arrangement (42) for driving the moveable cutting blade (34) relative to the stationary cutting blade (32) in an oscillatory movement along a first axis (40), a comb support element (45) for removably attaching a comb attachment (12) with a plurality of comb teeth (50), and an adjustment unit (58) for adjusting the position of the comb attachment (12) relative to the cutting assembly (16), when the comb attachment (12) is attached to the comb support element (45), wherein the adjustment unit (58) is configured to increase a distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) during an extension movement of the adjustment unit (58), and to decrease the distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) during a retraction movement of the adjustment unit (58). The hair clipping device (10) further comprises an end stop element (74) which is configured to prevent a movement of the comb attachment (12) towards the cutting assembly (16) during the retraction movement when a minimal distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) is reached by contacting the comb support element (45). The end stop element (74) is further configured to cause a coupling of the adjustment unit (58) with one of the stationary cutting blade (32) and the moveable cutting blade (34) if the retraction movement of the adjustment unit (58) is continued after the minimal distance between the comb attachment (12) and the cutting assembly (16) is reached after a contact of the end stop element (74) with the comb support element (45). Said coupling enables an adjustment of the position of the moveable cutting blade (34) relative to the stationary cutting blade (32) along a second axis (56) transverse to the first axis (40) by means of the adjustment unit (58).
BLADE OF HAIR CLIPPER AND HAIR CLIPPER
Blade of a hair clipper includes a fixed blade, and a movable blade for cutting hair by reciprocating and sliding on fixed blade in one direction. Furthermore, the fixed blade also includes sliding contact surface P2 on which the movable blade can slide, and skin contact surface P3 that can come into contact with skin. In a first state, sliding contact surface P2 is inclined with respect to skin contact surface P3 such that a distance between sliding contact surface P2 and skin contact surface P3 is decreased toward a distal end side of the fixed blade, and movable blade is configured to be slidable on sliding contact surface P2 of fixed blade in an intersecting direction intersecting with the one direction. Distal end part of fixed blade includes uniform part having a uniform thickness in a thickness direction intersecting the one direction and the intersecting direction.
