Hair removal device
A hair removal device, in particular an electric shaver, comprising a working head attached to a handle for moving the working head along a skin surface, said working head including at least a pair of short hair cutters and at least one trimmer neighboring at least one of said short hair cutters, wherein said short hair cutters and said trimmer are movable relative to said handle under a skin contact pressure.
Personal care product docking system with flux guiding members
A personal care product system is provided. The personal care product system has a stand that has a first stand permanent docking magnet. A stand inductive charging coil is also positioned within the stand. A handle that has a first handle permanent docking magnet is removably mounted to the stand. A handle inductive charging coil is positioned within the handle. A handle flux guiding member is in close proximity to a surface of the first handle permanent docking magnet to direct a magnetic field away from the inductive charging coils.
SHAVER
A shaver includes a housing including first and second housing halves defining an interior chamber, the housing having an operational end and an opposite, bottom end, the interior chamber containing a motor acting through a transmission and configured for reciprocally driving a pair of laterally reciprocating drive fingers. Each drive finger includes an elongate finger drive element extending from the operational end. A resilient seal having slits accommodating the finger drive elements is captured in corresponding seal cavities in each of the housing halves. The seal and the housing halves are configured for placing the seal in at least one of radial and axial compression upon assembly of the housing halves together.
Hair clipper with tapered radial handle
A haircutter handle has upper and lower housings. The upper housing and lower housing join to form a circumvoluted and/or spiraled exterior surface. The handle narrows and extends axially from a blade end to a handle or gripping end. The blade has an upper blade that oscillates over the lower blade to cut hair. The handle has a reduction taper that facilitates gripping and/or handling the handle. The taper also orients the motor and battery so that the center of gravity is positioned within the palm of the user's hand when gripping the handle. The blade end of the handle has a width and/or height that are greater than a width and/or height at the handle end. The reduction in height and/or width dimensions define a taper. In some embodiments, the width tapers more than the height tapers to facilitate gripping the handle about the center of gravity.
ELECTRIC SHAVER WITH IMAGING CAPABILITY
System and method for improving the shaving experience by providing improved visibility of the skin shaving area. A digital camera is integrated with the electric shaver for close image capturing of shaving area, and displaying it on a display unit. The display unit can be integral part of the electric shaver casing, or housed in a separated device which receives the image via a communication channel. The communication channel can be wireless (using radio, audio or light) or wired, such as dedicated cabling or using powerline communication. A light source is used to better illuminate the shaving area. Video compression and digital image processing techniques are used for providing for improved shaving results. The wired communication medium can simultaneously be used also for carrying power from the electric shaver assembly to the display unit, or from the display unit to the electric shaver.
Apparatus for releasably locking a stationary blade to a hair clipper
An apparatus is provided for releasably locking a stationary blade to a hair clipper, and includes a stationary blade with a blade opening, and a bracket configured for fixing the stationary blade to the hair clipper. Also, the bracket has a bracket opening. An actuator in the apparatus has a locking formation engageable in the openings and is operable between a first, locked position locking the stationary blade to the bracket, and a second, unlocked position releasing the stationary blade from the bracket.
A CUTTING UNIT
The present invention relates to a cutting unit for a hair-cutting device. A cutting unit 14 is provided that comprises a tapered stationary guard blade 18 and a reciprocating cutter blade 16 in which the stationary guard blade is arranged to be moved perpendicular to the reciprocal motion of the cuter blade to allow the selection of different length settings. The guard blade may be biased to a minimal length setting. The stationary guard blade may be configured to be actuated by a user to allow a stepless change of the cutting length, when the stationary guard blade is pushed from its biased start position to the other end position.
Cutter Head For Personal Care Appliances
The present invention relates a tool head for a personal care appliance, including a plurality of tool rotors rotatably supported about rotor axes and a drive train for rotatably driving said tooling rotors from a motor, wherein such drive train includes: an input crank element having connection means for connecting to a drive shaft, a transmitter element configured to be driven by said input crank element, and output crank elements configured to be driven by said transmitter element to rotate about said rotor axis.
