An apparatus for disinfecting a surface of a fluid dispenser comprises a reflector and one or more UV radiation emitters. The reflector has a reflective surface extending around an exterior perimeter (e.g. circumferential) surface of the fluid dispenser. The UV radiation emitters are optically oriented to emit ultraviolet radiation toward the reflective surface. The reflector is configured to direct the ultraviolet radiation toward the exterior perimeter surface.

A lighting system includes a light source configured to generate light to inactivate one or more pathogens. The light includes an inactivating portion having wavelengths in a range of 280 to 380 nanometers.

Disclosed is a sterilization cassette with a less cumbersome mechanism for opening and closing the cassette, as compared to prior art cassettes. The cassette includes a slider mechanism that couples the cassette closed with pins and hooks on one side, and that allows pivoting of the two cassette pieces with slots and pins on the other side. The cassette can therefore be open and closed with one hand in a simple and easy manner. The cassette can also include inserts that hold instruments in a staggered, multi-layer manner to increase the efficiency of the cassette as compared to the single-layered inserts of the prior art.

[Solution] A sanitization method which is characterized by involving both irradiation of ultraviolet light of a wavelength of between 190 to 230 nm and a treatment using an alcoholic sanitizer; a sanitization method which is characterized in that the alcoholic sanitizer comprises water and an alcoholic agent selected from any one of ethanol, propanol, or a mixture thereof, and the amount of alcoholic agent is greater than the amount of water; and a sanitization device which includes a sanitizer supply unit for depositing the alcoholic sanitizer on an object to be sanitized and an ultraviolet irradiation unit that irradiates the object to be sanitized with ultraviolet light of a wavelength of between 190 to 230 nm.

A large-screen VR integrated game machine comprises an upper assembly moveably attached to a lower assembly. A VR head mounted display retracting device positioned within the interior of the upper display, comprises a power transmission system, an electrical control system and a pulley system. The VR integrated game machine moveable upper assembly provides a folding structure that allows easier maintenance and upgrades of the equipment under unattended operation. Because the game machine is foldable the height can be shortened to alleviate transportation difficulties and set up at an operation site.

Systems and techniques for cleaning and sanitizing objects are discussed herein. An object may include an unpowered object such as a shopping cart or a powered object such as a power wheel-chair. A sanitization structure may be connected to a reservoir and may apply a sanitizing agent to the object via one or more nozzles. A drying structure may apply filtered gas such as filtered air to the object via one or more air ducts. An ultraviolet (UV) light structure may apply UV light to the object via one or more UV lamps. A UV curtain structure may include one or more curtains that block the UV light. A bumper rail may guide the object received by the various structures from an entrance side to an exit side of the various structures.

A self-sterilizing, face mask, respirator, open or enclosed face shield employs germicidal, far UV-C light safe for direct human exposure, mitigating risk of acquisition or transmission of respiratory pathogens, such as COVID 19. Device attachments or special lenses direct far UV-C light into the respiratory chamber and/or reservoir areas of infection including nasal, oropharyngeal or ocular areas to reduce or eliminate pathogens, serving also as a treatment modality. In a preferred embodiment the face shield has a removable front section, which can be exchanged or replaced with sections that include various functional attributes while maintaining germicidal protections and avoiding need to remove PPE during these activities including consumption of liquids, oral medications or food, as well as providing antimicrobial absorbent sneeze or cough guard or rhinorrhea secretion absorption, or a communication device to address communication deficiencies caused by respiratory protection barriers.

A handle assembly includes a first support portion, a second support portion, and a rod portion extending between the first support portion and the second support portion. The rod portion having an outer surface. The handle assembly also includes a sensor array disposed in one of the first or second support portions. The sensor array is configured to detect if the handle assembly has been used. The handle assembly also includes a light board configured to produce germicidal UV light upon detection from the sensor array that the handle assembly has been used such that the handle assembly is configured to automatically sanitize the outer surface of the rod portion after the handle assembly has been used.

The present invention provides an apparatus of charged-particle beam e.g. an electron microscope comprising a plasma generator for selectively cleaning BSE detector. In various embodiments, the plasma generator is located between a sample stage and a sample table having one or more openings or holes. The plasma generator generates plasma and distributes or dissipates the plasma through the openings of the sample table toward and onto surface of the BSE detector. Cleaning contaminants on the surface of the BSE detector frequently and selectively with in-situ generated plasma can prevent the detectors from performance deterioration such as losing resolution and contrast in imaging at high levels of magnification.

A sterilization device is disclosed. The device includes a housing that includes a sterilization conveyor chamber. The sterilization conveyor chamber includes a sterilization conveyor system and a tray placed near the sterilization conveyor system. The tray includes multiple compartments to collect objects. The sterilization conveyor chamber includes an UVC-LED source to sterilize the objects when exposed to UVC light. The sterilization conveyor chamber includes an outlet to receive sterilized objects one at a time. The housing includes a packaging chamber coupled to the sterilization conveyor system via the outlet. The packaging chamber envelopes and seals the sterile objects with a preloaded spool of packaging material. The housing also includes an object retrieval chamber comprising a drawer to store and protect the sterilized objects by moving the sterilized objects.
