Handheld sanitizing device
A handheld omnidirectional UV-Light sanitizing device is provided. The device defines a spherical housing constructed of clear glass or formed a clear polymer. An LED unit enclosed within the housing defines a structure. The LED unit includes a power source and a plurality of UV light emitting LEDs positioned on an external portion of the structure and coupled to the power source. The LEDs are positioned around the structure to deliver UV light omnidirectional to areas proximate the housing. The UV light emitted from the LEDs is at a wavelength suitable to kill, destroy, or reduce growth of microorganisms/germs in the area proximate to the housing. In another embodiment, the housing is formed of polymer and the LEDs are positioned on an external surface of the housing.
HOME PLASMA STERILIZER
The following disclosure relates to a home plasma sterilizer that sterilizes household items in a home by using plasma. According to an embodiment, there is provided a home plasma sterilizer including: a plurality of plasma electrode modules configured to generate plasma in order to sterilize a sterilization target object inside a sterilization chamber; a harmful gas removal unit configured to communicate with the sterilization chamber, and provided with a catalytic filter that is intended to remove harmful gas inside the sterilization chamber; a power supply unit configured to supply power to the plasma electrode modules; and a control unit configured to control the supply of power by the power supply unit; wherein the control unit performs control so that the plurality of plasma electrode modules is sequentially supplied with power at predetermined cycles but the supply of power is continuous as a whole.
Targeted approach for ultraviolet disinfection of surfaces
An embodiment may involve obtaining a three-dimensional image map of m surfaces within an environment, wherein the surfaces are associated with importance weights that represent how frequently the surfaces are expected to be touched; determining a set of n vantage points for a light source within the environment; calculating an mn irradiance matrix for each of the surfaces when the light source is in each of the vantage points, wherein each entry in the mn irradiance matrix is determined by: (i) rasterizing the three-dimensional image map, (ii) identifying a set of visible surfaces, and (iii) calculating an amount of light-based power that would reach each of the visible surfaces; determining a set of n dwell times for the vantage points; and providing instructions, to a disinfecting agent, to traverse at least a subset of the vantage points, pausing at and illuminating at least some.
MINIATURIZED DEVICE TO STERILIZE FROM COVID-19 AND OTHER VIRUSES
A system for sterilizing viruses includes beam generation circuitry for generating a radiating wave having radiating energy therein at a predetermined frequency therein. A controller controls the radiating wave generation at the predetermined frequency. The predetermined frequency equals a resonance frequency of a particular virus. The predetermined frequency induces a mechanical resonance vibration at the resonance frequency of the particular virus within the particular virus for destroying a capsid of the particular virus. Radiating circuitry projects the radiating wave on a predetermined location to destroy the particular virus at the predetermined location.
Antimicrobial peptide stimulating cleansing composition
A topical cleansing composition for stimulating the production of antimicrobial peptides on the skin is disclosed. The topical cleansing composition includes an active ingredient comprising one or more of a natural extract and a polypeptide; one or more surfactants; and water. The topical cleansing composition increases the concentration of antimicrobial peptides on skin, as compared to an otherwise identical topical composition without the active ingredient.
SANITIZATION AND CLEANING SYSTEM FOR OBJECTS
Systems and techniques for cleaning and sanitizing objects are discussed herein. An object may include an unpowered object such as a shopping cart or a powered object such as a power wheel-chair. A sanitization structure may be connected to a reservoir and may apply a sanitizing agent to the object via one or more nozzles. A drying structure may apply filtered gas such as filtered air to the object via one or more air ducts. An ultraviolet (UV) light structure may apply UV light to the object via one or more UV lamps. A UV curtain structure may include one or more curtains that block the UV light. A bumper rail may guide the object received by the various structures from an entrance side to an exit side of the various structures.
LARGE-SCREEN VR INTEGRATED GAME MACHINE
A large-screen VR integrated game machine comprises an upper assembly moveably attached to a lower assembly. A VR head mounted display retracting device positioned within the interior of the upper display, comprises a power transmission system, an electrical control system and a pulley system. The VR integrated game machine moveable upper assembly provides a folding structure that allows easier maintenance and upgrades of the equipment under unattended operation. Because the game machine is foldable the height can be shortened to alleviate transportation difficulties and set up at an operation site.
DISINFECTION AND/OR STERILIZATION OF AGRICULTURAL CROPS
Methods and devices for decontaminating agricultural material, which agricultural material may comprise carboxylic acids are disclosed. The methods involve contacting the agricultural material with a sufficient amount of ethylene oxide, at a temperature of between around 15 and 30 C., for a sufficient time so as to disinfect the products. Ethylene oxide sterilization conducted at these temperatures is sufficient to remove microbial contamination, but not sufficient to cause a sufficient quantity of carboxylic acid groups to react with ethylene oxide and form esters. Representative devices include sterilization bags, optionally stored in sterilization cabinets, sealed drums, and pallet-loaded disinfecting chambers, all adapted to safely purge ethylene oxide from the agricultural material after the sterilization. Representative agricultural materials include, but not limited to hemp and marijuana.
Apparatus and Methods for Deactivating Microorganisms with Non-Thermal Plasma
An array of non-thermal plasma emitters is controlled to emit plasma based on application of an electric current at desired frequencies and a controlled power level. A power supply for an array controller includes a transformer that operates at the resonant frequency of the combined capacitance of the array and the cable connecting the array to the power supply. The power into the array is monitored by the controller and can be adjusted by the user. The controller monitors reflected power characteristics, such as harmonics of the alternating current, to determine initiation voltage of the plasma and/or resonant frequency plasma emitters. The array of non-thermal plasma emitters may be used in therapeutic, diagnostic, and/or medical sanitization applications, such as to prevent, limit, and/or treat the development of diseases caused in humans by infectious agents.
Cleaning a vehicle display
A computer having a processor and memory storing instructions executable by the processor that include: to determine whether a vehicle cabin is occupied; and based on the determination, to control actuation of a lamp, located on a bezel of a display, to impinge upon a screen having a light-sensitive coating.
