Apparatus of charged-particle beam such as scanning electron microscope comprising plasma generator, and method thereof

The present invention provides an apparatus of charged-particle beam e.g. an electron microscope comprising a plasma generator for selectively cleaning BSE detector. In various embodiments, the plasma generator is located between a sample stage and a sample table having one or more openings or holes. The plasma generator generates plasma and distributes or dissipates the plasma through the openings of the sample table toward and onto surface of the BSE detector. Cleaning contaminants on the surface of the BSE detector frequently and selectively with in-situ generated plasma can prevent the detectors from performance deterioration such as losing resolution and contrast in imaging at high levels of magnification.

MOVABLE GERMICIDAL ASSEMBLIES FOR DISINFECTION APPARATUSES

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus and a method for disinfecting an article. The method includes providing a disinfection chamber inside a cabinet. The disinfection chamber includes a tray moveable between a first position outside the cabinet for placement and retrieval of an article in the tray and a second position within the disinfection chamber for disinfection of the article. The method also includes manipulating, via a controller, a first germicidal assembly movably mounted to the disinfection chamber. The first germicidal assembly includes an articulated arm and a first UV panel mounted thereto, where the articulated arm is manipulated to extend the first UV panel in a first direction towards the article inside the cabinet for disinfecting the article.

Apparatus and methods for treatment using non-thermal plasma

An array of non-thermal plasma emitters is controlled to emit plasma based on application of an electric current at desired frequencies and a controlled power level. A power supply for an array controller includes a transformer that operates at the resonant frequency of the combined capacitance of the array and the cable connecting the array to the power supply. The power into the array is monitored by the controller and can be adjusted by the user. The controller monitors reflected power characteristics, such as harmonics of the alternating current, to determine initiation voltage of the plasma and/or resonant frequency plasma emitters. The array of non-thermal plasma emitters may be used in therapeutic, diagnostic, and/or medical sanitization applications, including where a non-thermal plasma treatment regimen is prescribed.

Entryway Sanitizing Assembly

An entryway sanitizing assembly for neutralizing microbes on an entrant includes a frame, which defines an opening through which a user can pass. A first sensor, which detect motion, is engaged to the frame and can detect a user approaching the opening. A lamp engaged to the frame emits ultraviolet radiation into the opening to neutralize microbes on the user passes through the opening. A plurality of nozzles is engaged to the frame and is directed into the opening. A pump is operationally engaged to the plurality of nozzles and to a reservoir containing a disinfectant solution. The disinfectant solution is pumped by the pump to the nozzles to generate a disinfectant mist to neutralize the microbes on the user passing through the opening. A controller selectively actuates the lamp and the pump upon detection of motion by the first sensor.

The Portable Sanitizer Spritzier Station as disclosed includes an undercarriage of frontward and backward motion rollers and sidewards rollers configured to ambulate the station in a first mode and to convey carts there through in a second mode and to collect used sanitizer for recycle and refuse. The disclosure also includes an upper structure of clear side panels and clear tarp ends and inside guide rails between conveyor belts and a sanitizer pipe network directing sanitizer upward from a floor thereof and downward from a ceiling thereof. The disclosure further includes a controller configured to determine one of the first and the second modes and to determine a time limit for the sanitizer to be sprayed through the sanitizer pipes and to control the rollers and conveyor belt.

DISINFECTION APPARATUS

A disinfection apparatus is adapted to disinfect a floor and includes a body and a disinfection assembly. The body is adapted to move along a default path via a moving device. The moving device is positioned at a bottom of the body and includes at least two floor contact parts. The floor contact parts are adapted to contact with the floor and form floor contact points on the floor, and the floor contact points form a track with actuation of the floor contact parts. The disinfection assembly is installed at the bottom of the body and is adapted to at least disinfect the track. Therefore, the disinfection apparatus is prevented from polluting an environment during disinfection.

MINIATURIZED DEVICE TO STERILIZE SURFACES FROM COVID-19 AND OTHER VIRUSES

A system for sterilizing viruses includes beam generation circuitry for generating a radiating wave having radiating energy therein at a predetermined frequency therein. A controller controls the radiating wave generation at the predetermined frequency. The predetermined frequency equals a resonance frequency of a particular virus. The predetermined frequency induces a mechanical resonance vibration at the resonance frequency of the particular virus within the particular virus for destroying a capsid of the particular virus. Radiating circuitry projects the radiating wave on a predetermined location to destroy the particular virus at the predetermined location.

Embodiments disclosed herein provide methods for decontaminating food contact surfaces using a fine spray/mist that comprise an antimicrobial composition comprising an organic acid and an organic citrus extract. The spray application reduces the microbiological populations on the surface of food contact surfaces, including potential pathogens, thereby reducing cross-contamination and improving food safety. The composition described herein can be use to target a number of microbiological pathogens, including L. monocytogenes, which is a known cross-contaminant in retail environments such as deli counters and slicers due to its ability to grow at refrigerated temperatures and moist environments making it a known cause of post-processing contamination of ready-to-eat food products.
