FLEXIBLE BODY SHAVER
A back shaver has a body shaver handle and a flexible coupling for a blade cartridge comprising a sharp blade. The flexible coupling uses a material that allows the blade cartridge to pivot with respect to the body shaver handle. In some alternatives the flexible coupling uses rubber or another flexible material. In other alternatives the flexible coupling uses a mechanical pivot mechanism located near the inner side at an end of body shaver handle opposite the handle end and allowing the blade cartridge to move and pivot at alternate angles when pressed against a skin surface. The mechanical pivot mechanism can be located at in the blade cartridge or in the body shaver handle.
SPACER FOR RAZOR BLADE FOR CREATING AND MAINTAINING A STUBBLE SHAVE APPEARANCE
A razor blade assembly having a handle; a head having a blade assembly of one or more blades connected to the handle; and a cap or spacer which is integral to or mounted to and positioned over the head to space the cutting edges of the blades from the skin of a user to create and maintain a stubble appearance beard in the range of 0.45 mm to 1.25 mm in thickness while using a manual low cost razor.
Spacer for razor blade for creating and maintaining a stubble shave appearance
A razor blade assembly that is capable of creating a stubble-like appearance via a manual, low-cost razor. The assembly includes a spacer that maintains a gap or clearance between a blade edge and a surface to be shaved. This gap or clearance facilitates an effect of a shadow- or stubble-like appearance upon the surface.
SPACER FOR RAZOR BLADE WITH VIBRATION
A razor blade assembly with a vibration feature includes a head having a blade assembly having one or more cutting blades connected to a handle. The head has a spacer to space the cutting blades from a user's skin and to create and maintain a 5 o'clock shadow beard or a stubble beard. The handle houses a vibration mechanism which is operated by a motor to cause vibration of at least one of the head and the handle.
SANDWICH STRUCTURED CUTTER AND PERSONAL HAIR TRIMMER USING THE SAME
The disclosure provides a sandwich structured cutter, which comprises two fixed blades and a reciprocating blade sandwiched between the two fixed blades; edges of front ends of both the two fixed blades are provided with a row of comb teeth, an inner surface of each comb tooth contacting the reciprocating blade forms an acute angle with a lateral edge of the comb tooth; an edge of a front end of the reciprocating blade is provided with a row of cutter teeth having cutting edges; the edges of the front ends of the two fixed blades are overlapped with each other, the edge of the front end of the reciprocating blade is sandwiched between the edges of the front ends of the two fixed blades and is not exposed out of the edge of the front end of any one fixed blade.
Razor having a hair-cutting fiber
Razor having a hair-cutting fiber having a hair-cutting section attached to a support in such a position relative to a skin engaging surface that the hair-cutting section is exposed to a user's skin for cutting through hairs when the skin engaging surface is in contact with the skin and moved over the skin. The hair-cutting section has a fiber diameter smaller than or equal to 7 m and is made from a fiber material having a tensile strength larger than or equal to 5 GPa. A shaving method using such a razor is also described.
SHAVING RAZOR CARTRIDGE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
In one aspect, the invention features, in general, a shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a primary guard at a front of the housing, a secondary cap at a rear of the housing and at least one spring member positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. A bridge member is positioned between the primary guard and the secondary cap. The bridge member has a primary cap surface and a secondary guard surface. A first blade having a cutting edge is mounted to at least one of the spring members between the primary guard and the primary cap surface. A second blade having a cutting edge is mounted to at least one of the spring members between the secondary guard surface and the secondary cap. The bridge member is mounted on a plurality of the spring members.
SHAVING RAZOR CARTRIDGE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
In one aspect, the invention features, in general, a method of assembling a shaving razor cartridge by providing a housing having a primary guard and a secondary cap. A first blade having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A second blade having a cutting edge is mounted to the housing. A bridge member having a pair of spaced apart legs is mounted to the housing immediately between the first blade and the second blade. The first blade, the second blade and the bridge member are secured to the housing with at least one clip.
Protective cover for a shaving cartridge, a shaving assembly, a razor, a method of shaving with such a razor and a method of manufacturing a protective cover
A protective cover for a shaving cartridge, a shaving assembly including a cartridge and a protective cover, a razor having a razor handle and such a shaving assembly, a method of shaving with such a razor and a method of manufacturing such a protective cover. The protective cover includes a housing extending longitudinally along a longitudinal axis (A) and is provided with a comb and a trimming blade, the trimming blade having an elongated cutting edge and the comb having several teeth projecting obliquely to the longitudinal axis (A) and protruding forwardly with regard to the trimming blade.
SHAVING APPARATUS
The present invention is directed to a shaving apparatus. The shaving apparatus includes a flexible substrate and a plurality of treatment sheets, each treatment sheet comprising at least one first aperture, at least one first aperture comprising cutting edges, wherein the plurality of treatments sheets are secured to said flexible substrate. The flexible substrate allows the treatment sheets to move in response to a force applied during hair removal.
