METHOD FOR RETAINING A SHAVING RAZOR COMPONENT IN A RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A method for retaining a shaving razor component in a razor cartridge including: providing the razor cartridge including a first housing portion with a first top surface positioned on a first plane, one or more razor blade members, and a second housing portion rotatably attached to the first housing portion and including a second top surface positioned on a second plane and an engagement surface configured to receive the shaving razor component, in which the second housing portion has a first or open position and a second or closed position; with the second housing portion in the first position, positioning the shaving razor component against the engagement surface; and moving the second housing portion with respect to the first housing portion such that the second housing portion is in the second position and the shaving razor component is disposed between the first and second housing portions.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge comprising three or more substantially parallel cutting members disposed between a leading longitudinal side and a trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge in a shaving direction of the razor cartridge. Each of the cutting members comprises a blade support comprising a blade mounting portion disposed on an inner surface of the respective blade support that, in use, faces away from a shaving plane, and a blade attached to the blade mounting portion. The cutting members are disposed to define a plurality of inter-blade spans between cutting edges of the blades. A leading inter-blade span that is closer to the leading longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than a trailing inter-blade span is different to the trailing inter-blade span that is closer to the trailing longitudinal side of the razor cartridge than the leading inter-blade span.
Shaving razor cartridge and method of manufacture
A shaving razor cartridge with a housing having a top surface and a bottom surface. A guard is at the front of the housing. A cap is at a rear of the housing. At least one blade is mounted to the housing between the guard and the cap. The housing has a wall defining an opening extending from the top surface to the bottom surface that is configured to receive a portion of a handle. The bottom surface has a handle docking alignment member indicating an intended direction for the handle to be inserted into the opening.
SHAVING HEADS
The present disclosure relates to a shaving head configured to be moved along a shaving direction relative to skin during shaving of the skin, the shaving head including a housing, one or more blades mounted within the housing, and a hair moving mechanism connected to the housing and arranged in the shaving direction relative to the one or more blades, wherein the hair moving mechanism is configured to move hair relative to the skin in a direction towards the one or more blades during shaving. A shaver including same.
Self-movable blade supports
A shaving blade member may include a first portion disposed in a first plane, wherein an end of the first portion includes a tapered cutting edge; a second portion extending from the first portion and disposed in a second plane, the second plane being at an angle with the first plane; wherein the second portion comprises one or more protrusions, the one or more protrusions being movable relative to the second portion.
Razor blade with bent portion and razor cartridge using the same
An integral razor blade which is thin and has improved strength by shaping a geometrical structure of the razor blade and a razor cartridge using the same. The razor blade includes a base portion, a bent portion extending in a bent manner from one end of the base portion, and an edge portion extending from one end of the bent portion, a cutting edge being formed at one end of the edge portion. A first separation distance X between a straight line extending in a longitudinal direction from a front surface of the base portion and an end point of the cutting edge ranges from 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm.
RAZOR CARTRIDGE
A razor cartridge is disclosed. The present disclosure in at least one embodiment provides a razor cartridge including a blade housing and a lubrication member providing unit, wherein the blade housing is configured to accommodate at least one first shaving blade having a cutting edge and at least one second shaving blade having a cutting edge to lie in a longitudinal direction, the lubrication member providing unit is configured to provide a lubrication member, and the lubrication member providing unit is coupled to the blade housing so that the lubrication member is positioned between the first shaving blade and the second shaving blade.
Safety razor and utility case system and method of use thereof
Embodiments in this disclosure include a novel safety razor and utility case having a personal grooming utility case for storing a safety razor tool in a razor compartment and a disposable razor blade in a razor blade slot of the personal grooming utility case. The safety razor tool having a razor handle and a flexible razor jaw for receiving and safely removing the disposable razor blade from the razor blade slot of the personal grooming utility case.
Shaving aid for retaining elements
A razor cartridge includes a housing having a portion that forms a cavity and a retaining element configured to maintain a blade in the housing. The retaining element has a top portion that includes an aperture therethrough, a bottom portion, and an intermediate portion connecting the top portion to the bottom portion to define an interior volume between the top portion and the bottom portion. The cavity is fitted with a shaving aid. The retaining element is connectable to the housing so that the shaving aid is encompassed by the interior volume of the retaining element.
Dual sided razor
One embodiment of a dual sided razor comprises a handle and a cartridge attached to the handle, the cartridge further comprising a first shaving side and a second shaving side, the cartridge being switchable relative to the handle between the first and second shaving sides.
